You wonder why people still vote republican when things like social safety nets, and medicare for all and tons of liberal policies poll WAAAAY over 50%? It's because people like you want to turn it all back to a culture war.

"There is no such thing as cancel culture", "punch a racist" (btw everybody is racist) "If you deny being racist you are a white fragile bitch", "we need a struggle session where you humiliate yourself in front of the company for you to stay in line.", "we need to keep lists of people who vote republican". "By publishing that Op-Ed I feared for my safety", "You can't post the censored n-word on an exam about real world legal situations or else you are literally traumatizing the black students"...

By banning talk of lab leak as "racist debunked misinformation" you just told the fucking world "hey, anytime somebody bans something as false, you can't trust that shit".

Plus when dems do get power they so seldom do much, because they are largely still puppeted by big companies too.

So it's largely a fight between somebody who tells you to feel shame all day, tells you to feel scared to share your honest thoughts at work or online, and who sometimes kinda tries but usually fails to help make the government better, and the "fuck you" party. And because of the culture war nonsense people like you keep pushing "fuck you" seems like an appealing party.
