Thing is, I don't even know if that theme would be very well recognized today, but the competition is lean - nothing from the 00's ever became even remotely a cultural institution in the way SMB did. Nothing ever has. So the Halo theme it is. I've gotta say no to the Skyrim theme, by the way. I think even most gamers would have a hard time pinning it down to the right game - it's a pretty generic theme that doesn't really stand out a lot from its contemporaries. To me its plastered all over whenever a trailer pops up and it plays every time you fight a dragon in the game, which is like every five minutes.
