So literally no sane president has ever dared touch that nuke button. Even Trump didnt do it.

Any country nuking another regardless of if that country specifically has nukes would throw off the balance. Countries with nukes would retaliate

That's not even taking into account the tangled web of alliances between countries or the ecological damage a nuclear strike would cause

no they wouldn't. I highly doubt China gives a crap if the US were to nuke some random nobody country out there.

Countries will only retaliate if they have a defense treaty with the particular country being attacked. If US nukes Hong Kong or Mongolia for example, yes China might retaliate. Or if US nukes a country China has an invested interest or supply chain business in, yes China may retaliate.

Don't worry. We'll use them some day
