Lol yep I had this exact issue when I was trying to buy CREX a while back. I did end up placing that order with a broker a week later but it was already 1.25 by that point and the whole thing never filled. I was trying to buy at 1.15. I sold in the 1.50s though to make other trades. And yeah, CREXW was totally fine to buy on TD. Weird.

E: Looking at the CREX chart it looks like I would have basically perfectly timed the bottom by pure luck. I was trying to get a much larger position but only ever got a couple grand worth filled. Goddammit TD

I looked up the specifics of CREXW in response, and buying an option for 4.75 that expires in a couple years not really what I'm looking for. Think I'll just buy something else

I took a $1,200 hit on BRKB to get in KSS. It crushed earnings and plummeted, so I suspect itll go up a bunch in the next few weeks at some point.

Bought back into RKT today. Looking for a squeeze, but I also don't understand how the stock is as low as it is from a pure value point of view.

DNN is one of my 'relatively low risk' stocks that I just buy when it dips and sell covered calls for to buy more. So I bought in originally at like 1.10 in march and when it dipped under 1 I bought a lot more and sold some 3 dollar calls for 1/23. I have mostly stopped day trading because I have been busy with my business instead so I am comfortable with this!

Also I could not care less what any news article says tbh. I don't trust news articles from big sites like that and it doesn't match up with how I feel about it.

He's up like 30% in less than 3 months. On 250k that would be like 75k. Definitely nothing to sneeze at!

30% is amazing, Im not knocking it. But I dont think he put in more than 10% of his portfolio, goes back to one of my precious beliefs about investing concentrated amounts.

Do you support having very high concentration? I think 10% is quite reasonable and is on the high side if anything for something as volatile as DNN. His portfolio is not small.

I personally do, which is why I do it. Like, last week I had around $30k leftover (about 15% of my portfolio) and made 5% or so in a few days. Its not a negligible amount but it wasnt anything impactful either.

The important thing is that were all making money

So I just got a really decent lump sum of money from a life insurance policy that no one knew about for the past few months. It's all going into Cardano.

And if your purchase IS enough to move the needle then I suggest you retire instead.

Everything I've said about ADA has been conservative estimates based on the information currently presented. If we get Smart Contracts with the release of Goguen by the end of summer as promised, with Ethereum 2.0 and their proof of stake delayed yet again, Cardano has a fantastic chance to dig into their market share as projects switch from ETH to ADA.

Nothing is set in stone. We could get another Goguen delay. We could start to see a really bearish trend. But everything surrounding ADA lately is just good news after good news.

I grabbed a little bit of NCLH because I think it's still got some recovery ahead. Now, if COVID comes back strong in the US and things get crazy, like boats full of COVID victims stranded offshore, etc. then I see some real dark days ahead for cruises. I'm a catastrophist when it comes to travel stocks (that's why I couldn't hold airlines past vaccine data, even though it made little sense to sell) but I think this is a good way to ultimately double money in a few years.

I should have bought in the 70s, for sure! The margins on Roblox are so insane compared to peers. But also don't be surprised if I sell in a month. There's plenty of reason to think it'll be anywhere 50-200 this time next year.

I'll say this, my kids now play with other kids in person again, but they play Roblox all the time and they don't want toys and books, they want Roblox, and when they play with their friends, they sometimes just play Roblox in the same room, etc.

I imagine Roblox does worse outside of the pandemic but having Roblox in my life for years now, I think it was a bigger "hey kids try this addictive thing" as opposed to just some dumb thing they did to kill time in quarantine. It's like 1.5% of my portfolio.

I split my Fubo into RBLX, NNOX and RKT, though I might bail out of RKT this week and put that into NNOX. Or the other way around.

Been loving my LI stock. That's been a big winner for me.

Finally sold some of my COVID stocks I've been hanging onto to get that LT tax treatment. Park Hotels more than doubled, not bad.

Got a lot more cash ready for something.
