When you stop asking "the hell does that work?" you start to spiral into yourself.

Is the idea that if all that stuff was removed you would not be depressed? Like if you had no choice but to fight for your survival like some people have to do everywhere every day?

That kind of makes sense to me man. I think if you're rich and you are depressed they should just take all ypur stuff away and have you symtart from nothing. I think that honestly might work.

If thats not the idea and the picture is implying we should be more grateful bro i got a whole instagram with over 500 posts which i do once a day of just gratitude, health info, and other things i do to stay occupied. It has helped but i still feel like shit sometimes, sometimes i feel awful for being grateful of what i have and still feeling awful because i know someone out there is way worse off and happier than me.

Tends to make the person feel worse if anything. "If my life is so great, why am I sad?" Or "why doesn't anyone care how I feel inside?"

Regardless of how depression does/doesn't work, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say CE lacks the majority of things on that list, and a reminder in this format just made it worse for a number of people. If that was low key your intention all along, well played.

I hope this is a joke about how people just don't understand depression. Because if is not it horrible. People think things like Depression is just something that people have when they are not trying hard. No fool it is not. Depression is a illness just like heart issues or anything else.
