Yeah look like my company won't extend the work from home mandate past the labor day they told us back in March. Guess I'll be going back into the office two days a week which still isn't bad at all. I'm just spoiled from 100% remote.

Next time I ride by it ill take some pics of this log cabin home thats my literally dream home. Where its built has been a protected area for forever and it has water on 3 sides. Nothing else near it and there can't ever be. And they have special dispensation to drive a road no one else can take a motor vehicle on to get there.

Its not very big and its old but I dont care. The location is amazing. Id restore the boat ramp and build a skatepark in half the yard and love life so fucking much. Lol

I bet it'd be worth basically any asking price if it wasn't for the fact you can't alter the foundation and need approvals for any work done.

That would be a great job. I'd love to be a conservation officer. Its such an underfunded thing here it would be incredibly unlikely to get a gig without a degree in something related.

Maybe park ranger is something I should look into. I just hate the idea of moving.

Honestly afaik anyone under 50 here is getting Astra zeneca which kinda slightly concerns me since I don't think it even got approved in the US... but ill ask for something else and if they can't its whatever. I'll still get it.

I've got enough faith to at least trust Canada's decision on it.

I've read where drinking kills the things that produce color in our hair. I'm going grey at 32 cause of alcohol. My uncle was in his 60s with a full head of long red hair despite working at a prison his entire life. It was very impressive.

Redheads actually very rarely go grey, it's a genetic difference in pigment retention.

Oh cool. Maybe that will counter act the alcohol. The hair on my head when from blond to dirty blonde/brown as I got older and my beard is brown with a tint of red.

It's similar for me. I was as blonde as you can get as a kid but it gradually got darker as I got older.

I've got the brown/red beard too but my mustache hairs are blonde.

Man if that's a factor it makes me wonder how much my family drank. I mean there's a long history of generations of drinking but I've already kept my hair colour way more than most men in my family.

I have grey hairs but a lot less than my dad did at my age or any uncles. As far as my dad goes it's probly my fault though. Lol.

Nah, when you snag a fish its mouth is cartilage, it's like tagging a shark fin. There are no nerve endings. Also technically they have a different kind of brain and don't process pain, it more of a reactionary instinct. I just had a killer nap.

I just had the best Walter walk in ages. Or most memorable. He got scared shirtless cause of his beaver fixation again (you'd think he'd remember they slap their tails since it traumatized him twice before) then he recovered and started leaping and chasing the fuck out of something I couldn't see so drunk me was running behind him through the grass like an idiot but we couldn't get it.

And then on our way home I stopped by a park bathroom to take a piss and there was a 25 or so year old girl and a 60 or so year old dude smoking meth in the men's washroom. They didn't do anything weird or anything but apparently cats hate meth heads cause he fucking flipped and ran and pulled his leash out of my hand.

So I got him under control again and the meth heads are all "ooooh you got a traveling kitty?" And kept following me for a bit and Walter was shit scared of them.... which means he's smart. But they kept saying "oh he just doesn't like strangers" and I'm trying to be polite like "please stop following us you're scsring him and also no he's never been scared of any person in his life he's chill af."

I think I have a cat that can detect meth use. I couldn't tell except for the fact I walked in on them smoking it tbh.
