I think people fundamentally misunderstand who Liz Cheney is. She's not a party mainstay who has had her position for decades, she isn't Mitch McConnell or John Boehner. She wasn't even elected until 2016 and had held no elected office before that. If this had happened to her father, it might have been huge. But Liz Cheney isn't really anybody once you get past her family name.

For that matter, the Canadian feds haven't banned interprovincial travel. Just international (which Zeb himself was all in favour of not that long ago), and even that's got plenty of exceptions. Interprovincial travel restrictions have largely been a matter of provincial regulation, and are single-handedly responsible for how well the Atlantic provinces have been doing (at least until some jackasses from Ontario decided to ignore them and go to a party and single-handedly cause our total case count to double in less than three weeks, which really just proves the point).

To be fair, gun control is an issue that has shifted from being a Republican idea to a Democrat one within relatively recent history. Granted, when Republicans wanted it, it was mostly an effort to keep black people from getting guns, so the underlying motivations have changed, but it's still not entirely reasonable to bring up historical Republican presidents that were in favour of it.

No one suggested the 2016 elections were fraudulent. This is revisionist history from salty conservatives trying to "Same thing, both sides" some alternative facts to support their narrative.

At best, the left suggested that the 2016 election was tainted by Russian interference (which it was, as Mueller's report explicitly proved) or was unfair because more people voted for Clinton and the EC is a moronic system that has been so far perverted from its original intended purpose that it effectively only exists as an anti-majoritarian method to allow one party to behave anti-democratically. No one, however, suggested that Trump did not actually win the states he won or get the requisite number of EC votes to become president. The left's argument was that the electoral system that placed Donald Trump in the presidency was undemocratic, not that the election itself was fraudulent.

Not that I would expect you to understand the difference or acknowledge it long enough to realize it scuppers your narrative.

#1 -- NJ, with 291 per capita. Is that a red state?

#2 -- NY, with 270 per capita (but we learned NY lied about its numbers so it could be #1). Is that a red state?

#3 -- MA, with 257. Is that a red state?

#4 -- RI, with 254.

In fact, you don't hit a red state until #5. And the only reason some red states are doing worse now is because COVID hadn't really hit them early on and the vulnerable populations in the impacted states were decimated (in fact, NY's real numbers are likely far higher because Cuomo was covering up nursing home deaths and downplaying the risk)

First off, I listed two amendments, so you also fail at math as well as politics. Second, and more importantly, the biggest controls over social media came from Democrats and those have been largely successful in controlling social media. Meanwhile Trump's "control" was nothing more than removing the fact they enjoy protections that even the media doesn't get. The media. As in, the media.
