Bout a pound and a half. Was on sale for only $8/pnd at my local butcher.

I've had Wagu at steak resteraunts before, but never tried to make it myself. I'm just doing a simple dry rub on it, to allow for the full steak flavor to come through.

Can't wait to try em!! Can't believe it's so cheap now (compared to normal steaks). Used to be like 20$/lb or more. Wonder if they are massaging more cows lately or something.

Damn that was good.

So, when I saw it on sale, I decided to get it because the marbling looked very much like Tri-Tip steaks. I don't normally do Sirlion as to me it's not as flavorfull and can be tough.

I was wrong, it didn't elevate it to the level of Tri-Tip, actually I think I enjoyed that more than Rib Eyes, and it was 100% meat (no bones are large fat areas etc). It was also only $8 a pound (on sale but probably still means it's less then a Rib Eye per pound normally.

VERY juicy and flavorful, not tough, just used a season all, a bit of garlic powder and onion powder on it, just to release the flavor a bit more. It was delicious.

Seriously may switch to that as my main type of steak.
