Most peoples number 1 but far from everyones. Unless you get into the realm of instant retirement coming into more money wouldnt really change much for me personally.

Complains about, no.

But it is one of the major factors involved in a lot of other problems. For instance, it's usually seen as one of the main reasons why couples break-up/get divorced.

Time, time is what I complain about. I have a 13 month old so might not be that common

Pain, sickness, relationships, job (kinda money related but it's usually not the pay from the job) all probably top the lack of money I'd say.

Pain/sickness as you get older often is way worse than lack of money since often you have money but it still can't stop the negative effects of getting older or having cancer or breaking a bone etc. There are alot of older people.

Same for anyone under 18 mainly, they focus more on relationships/sickness/pain etc then money, so you have two large age groups that don't really complain about money much.

By the time most people are 30-40+ they prob have the money situation mostly figured out, at least to the point where they don't complain about it, so it's probably mainly 18-40 where it's something you complain about at most...so about 20 years, or maybe 1/4th of a normal persons life.

Meanwhile you complain about tons of other stuff almost your whole life, if you include being a baby, you complain about food constantly (your hungry and cry) and about soiling yourself, and about not getting enough attention (relationships).

When you get older you complain about all those things again actually!!

While I don't think it's the #1 thing, it's probably top 5. If you bundle all relationships together (friendship, familial, romantic), that would likely take number 1 by a good margin. I guess politics might also be up there because it's a fairly universal complaint, but... idk.

lolno. Even if you bundle that along with other things as social issues, it might not top five.

It's also a main reason why some couples stay together =p Divorce rates notably fall during recessions.

You don't need a lot of money if things aren't that expensive. I think lack of availability for the things people want to spend money on has been a bigger issue lately.
