Her face was "aged with wrinkles." That's some amazing prose right there. And "stands from is throne with anger." Because we couldn't tell he was angry from the fact he was bellowing, or from his word choice. And speaking of word choice, "stands from his throne with anger"? Not "rises from his throne in anger"? Or "leaps up from his throne in a rage"? And why is suddenly so angry anyway? All that happened so far is that his guards have dragged somebody into the room. Is he just a very angry king? Or was in the middle of something? If he was plowing his wife in a bedroom and his guards burst in with some old hag, I could see him "bellowing" about the intrusion. But it seems like guards are constantly coming and going. Not to mention the sheer descriptiveness of "the rough stone tile floor." It's funny, i'm living with a couple that has a 1 1/2 year old and I wear wolf shirts so much, she points at them alot, so I started to howl like a wolf when she does. Now she howls like a wolf all the time and so do her parents, so our house sounds like a wolf pack lol. We are gonna put her into daycare soon and I'm worried she is going to teach all the other babies to howl as well and we will be blamed. Worried, and excited.
