Graphic video showed 34 y/o Eric Stillman in the video screaming at the young teen to put his hands after he stopped him where it showed Toledo tossing his gun behind a chain fence and turning around before immediately being shot in the chest where Stillman then rushed to give aid. Toldeo appears to have dropped his handgun and began raising his hands and less than a second he was shot as the chicago police union stand behind the officer who shot a "gang member" Stillman is seen visibly upset on the ground while another officer takes over. Stillman's lawyer, Tom Grace told the Daily Beast that he was faced with a deadly situation and the teen was seen swinging a gun in his direction though body cam footage says otherwise They claim the juvenile had a gun in his right hand and the officer believed he was going to be shot and said he was faced with a life and death situation and made the call to shoot Grace said there's little interest on how the COP is feeling on his wellbeing after the shooting as he too was traumatized and the media is not paying attention to his PAIN!!.. In the 5 years he's been an officer he has never shot his gun nor killed a person although he had 9 "use of force" encounters but he used his baton in those situations. He is placed on admin leave pending an investigation as Kim Foxx, the state's attorney general has put the assistant state attorney general on LEAVE after he FAILED to state that Toledo did NOT have a gun in his hand before being shot during testimoy!! She said he failed to present the full facts of the shooting during a bond hearing for the cop James Murphy told the court "The officer yells Adam to dorp it as Adam turns towards the officer, Adam has a gun in his right hand. The kid DID have a gun. And if the officer was focused on the kid, he may well not have noticed the gun being tossed away while the kid still had his back to him, like...out of his "viewing frame", I mean. Really dumb to just toss it away discretely like that, though he was only 13. But then again, why the fuck is a 13 year old going around w/ a gun. Not really sure the officer deserves punishment for this. He was actually endangered prior to firing and it's plausible he didn't realize he no longer was when he did open fire. Guess it depends if the kid had his hands up as ordered before he turned around or only raised them after turning around.
