I get that it's supposed to be an allegory for racism, but Magneto is right, humans are objectively inferior to mutants in every conceivable way

That's my problem with the story. It's an anti-prejudice story in which the ubermensch actually exists. You might as well be asking, "What if Scandinavians were smarter and stronger than everyone else?"

Most mutants have trash powers that negatively harm them.

It just so happens basically all the x-men have superhero powers.

Also, you are comparing them to non-superhero humans. Compare them to like Iron Man and they are not superior.

Didn't even the comics start thumping Magneto's stance for the past 10 years? The X-Men haven't been heroes in a long long time but they have orgy parties

I guess it was doomed to happen, defending a world that hates and fears you is foolish when that world keeps sending giant kill bots after you

Not only that, in the hollywood movies: MAJOR SPOILERS

Magneto is totally totally right.

In one reality humans begin a violent genocide on mutants which turns into a brutal world war wheere mututants are hunted and killed until they are wiped out

Then they go back in time and advocate peace... So Humans effective steralize all mutants via weird corn syurp shit and commit a non-violent genocide that wipes them all out.

Peace is impossible. Humans always commit genocide of mutants

According to Moira, who has lived and died in multiple timelines, mutants will lose in just about every time in the future because humans will use technology to evolve themselves.

Cyclops was the leader of the entire mutant race after House of M for several years, and he became basically a mix of Magneto and Xavier ideologies.

Magneto is right that humans will never accept them and fear or hate or greed will cause them to genocide mutants every time. Humans even love to genocide other humans so it's REALLY not a stretch. Xavier is right that positive outreach can help. But it's never going to be enough.

It would in an universe where the Avengers also exist and are pro-mutants.

Its an allegory for powerful people who abuse their power and how fear drives them to do so.

Also in the comic story Xmen vs Avengers

Cyclops turns mad with power when he gets the Phoenix Force. Even Magneto tells him to chill the fuck out. Story ends with Cyclops in prison

That's actually the last xmen story I ever have seen so I actually have no idea what happened after that

And now they've become the extremists humanity always feared them becoming and the only reason they haven't gone to war is because out of story marvel has things to market I have no idea what's holding them back in story when it''s simple, either eradicate humanity or humanity will eradicate you.

To think, something that was once a nod to racism turned into genocide vs genocide may the best race win. What a terrible lesson through I suppose it's way more than just skin color here compared to reality.

Reminds me of all that shit elves and half elves get in the Tales of series any game with half elves has them treated absolutely horrid by the populace

I always found it strange how some of the X-men tried to promote how wonderful and great they were because of their powers, with people like storm etc and then you have Cyclops who blasts uncontrollable beams from his eyes and Rogue who kills anyone she touches.

Great powers, must make life super swell.

Promoting how wonderful and great it is to be themselves. It's about not being ashamed of who they are. This would allow mutants like Cyclops and Rogue to come to terms with their perceived dangerous/cursed powers so they might learn to better control the abilities for the betterment and safety of everyone around.

It still rings hollow when you have people who are practically gods preaching it to those who can't even touch, look at or be near another person without harming them. Easy for some of them to say how great it is when the only struggle they have is just HOW awesome will I be today?

No. The Fantastic Four picked a fight with the X-Men as they assumed the X-Men kidnapped their son and daughter. It was actually Doctor Doom who kidnapped their kids, although it was after their kids stuck on board an X-Men ship. Also Mr Richards invented and used a device to suppress his son's x-gene so he had no mutant powers, and didn't register as a mutant on mutant related scans.
