Compare that excitement to the Gase hire where I think it took me a week to talk myself into even thinking "well this might not be horrible". Ultimately I'm not sold on Wilson just because I'm always wary of the qb that goes from "late first" to top 5 pick. With that said, I think the Jets are in the best position they've been in over the past decade. I dont think Fields wouldve gotten past New England and apparently theres rumours that Minnesota may have grabbed him at 14. Either way, I think it was the right call, and I havent said that about Ryan Pace very often!! Need to go OL and WR in the next couple rounds. Fields will have Montgomery, Cohen and Damian Williams in the backfield, with Allen Robinson, Mooney and Marquise Goodwin to throw to, as well as Kmet (and Jimmy Graham whos still there for some reason).
