Home is where the heart is

These feel pretty close to me. The Mysterio illusion sequence is some of the most breathtaking cinematography the MCU has produced, but I'M TRYING TO SAVE YOU is also a top tier MCU moment.

Homecoming is a significantly better movie but the Mysterio scene is the best thing the MCU has ever done.

Homecoming and it's not close!

The car scene is quite possibly the most gripping scene in any MCU movie.

homecoming.

i thought the humor in far from home was weaker and mysterio is no vulture (at least not when we're talking about these interpretations of the characters). both are good movies, though.

It's so good. You could cut the tension with a knife.

Homecoming easy

I didn't really get the Mysterio scene (assuming you're talking about the one where he shows Peter a bunch of illusions and messes with him). Just felt like a standard "main character sees a bunch of illusions" scene.

i loved that scene but i wanted more stuff like that tbqh. they wasted a lot of time on the stupid bait-and-switch plotline that they SHOULD have spent on more awesome "mysterio messes with peter's head" scenes.

Homecoming but not by a whole lot

The thing I felt held FFH back a bit was the scene where the reveal happens where Mysterio literally just starts recapping his plan loudly to all his subordinates for no reason. It took me so out of it. I hate when they do scenes like that. "You guys should all know everything that happened, but I'm going to explain it to you anyway because there is secretly a movie audience watching!"

Homecoming. FFH had its moments but I wish we could see more of Mysterio's power in play.

yeah, that scene was terrible.

the pacing is ridiculous - the subordinates react insanely fast to mysterio's speech to make all the exposition move along quicker. it literally goes "to victoriaTO VICTORIAblah blah exposition exposition." the movie becomes a cartoon at that point.

As a big Mysterio fan, it was really incredible seeing him fully realized on the big screen. Illusion scene is top notch and he even has the fish helmet costume. Too bad it was only for one scene.

Homecoming is much better than FFH in my opinion. The whole last act of Spidey swinging through a bunch of drones is bottom tier MCU. FFH has the one good dream/freak out sequence and a couple funny parts but is overall kind of bad, whereas Homecoming is charming throughout.
