Each day I'll select 10 random characters from the Nintendo wiki (using https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Random ), and whichever gets the most votes gets a slot on B8's Smash Bros. roster

• Special exception: If the random page lands me on an obscure game that doesn't have a page for its characters, I'll just take the main character from that (or the closest thing I can find to a main character).
• Special exception #2: Sometimes RNG wants something that's not a character to be in the poll, and if that happens, so be it.

Yesterday was an intriguing race, with Morag always just holding a lead over reps from Harvest Moon, Pokemon and Animal Crossing.

Today on deck, we have 2 more Pokemon, a blue-haired swordsman, a real-life basketball player, a Mega Man boss trying to do what Gamma couldn't, a popular indie pirate, a character that's totally not Ness, a Sim, a minor character from a Mario spinoff, and a small group from an obscure rpg (couldn't decide who to take because I've never heard of it and they share equal boxart attention).

I was honestly making this thinking "oh Ninten's gotta take this right?" followed by "oh wait no Wynaut will win for sure" and then "oh shit Risky might pull this off"
