First free 10x summon for anniversary was pretty good! Dupe C. Arche (actually pulled her first during the free single pull event) and Laphicet who is new to the team. Off to a good start here!

But man I have no idea what to pick. I've got a number of units at 4 and 3 awakened levels. Might pick some water units cause that element is really lacking for me. So maybe School Ludger or try to max awaken like...Asbel or something.

I got an Earth Mint from my 10x summons. Did anyone ever find a use for her? I feel like her ult was hyped up but I never see her in arena

The OL is too high to be useful imo. Arena matches are going to end before it ever goes off. I hardly see her there.

I've seen her a handful of times in arena but she's useless I'll save her for last and she doesn't even reach halfway to her mystic arte. Maybe she'll be more useful in raids or transcendent battles?

There hasn't been any hint of another limited anniversary banner, but people suspect Misella or Vicious could drop on one later.

I went for the full pity and got three Kanatas plus the guaranteed one. It was enough to max awaken him and his stone

I had a bunch of ascension stones for the memoria stone. It's a 3600 atk stone and longsword is a good subgrid. I needed two awakening stones for the character and I think it is worth it. +70% atk to fire at 40 hits is very powerful.

I tried this arena team twice just now, and Kanata killed four units on turn one with a crit or any help from Makina. Really good so far. He actually has +20 OL on his board so that mystic arte isn't that unreachable

First round of Kanata banner done. M. Kohaku, Reid, and H. Asbel from it. I believe Reid was the last base unit that I needed...not that I really wanted him. Kohaku is a dupe and I've already got her awakened...might keep her stone around. H. Asbel is also a dupe but gets me a step closer to Awakening him.

Think I'm going to go for pity on the Summer Reid and Colette banner cause I really want Reid. With Kanata being around for 45 days I'll eventually hit the pity on that one.

I think I can say that Kanata feels more busted than Makina without his board complete in the arena after doing some more runs. I just saw him do over 300k damage to an Estelle with a normal attack

If I got the new Kanata on the second pull, any reason to pull more on the banner? I kinda just logged in to pull on the banner and logged out.

There's daily free ten pulls right now if you scroll down below that banner. It's decent value to get a guaranteed SSR on every fourth pull, but the main reason to continue is if you want to awaken him

Who do you run in the arena? Do you have a good AoE character?

Oh no one of note really. I usually end up in the 400-600 range but I still get hit hard by some Makina's or evasion (latest was a team that had 3 maxed Yuna stones and a maxed Colette stone).

Currently I have Cronos as my AoE nuke and of course Forte for hit gen. I could possibly sub in C. Arche or Luke (both 2 awakened levels) or regular Kanata (3 levels) or Kongwai (4 levels). Everyone else has lower than two levels.

Evasion stones are obnoxious, but at least they don't hit hard.

I've had success with Luke in the arena, but any of those are probably fine. It's nice that look gets arena attack up in his board and extra damage vs staff. Killing Estelles and Fortes is no problem

Well anniversary is off to a kickass start so far! Rita was a surprise R -> SSR change. Also got 3 SSR tickets from the luck tester so SSR galore here.

I didn't cap any of my anniversary pulls but I did cap this.

Nice! I would have loved an Awakening or ascension stone. It seems like the yellow monster soul exchange shouldn't be too hard to acquire so that'll be another Awakening and ascension stone right there.

Also the ones digit is now a 6 instead of a 3 for my gleamstone count which is a much more appealing number lol.

yeah, that event should get us two awakening stone and an ascension stone. And the medal exchange should be adding awakening + ascension stones next month.

I'm glad you got Reid. I want Colette, but am undecided on that banner yet. We should know the next one soon

Did 2 more pulls. Got Colette lol. At 7 pulls on the banner. Yeah I might wait till the next set of units is revealed before going any more on this one.

Also another H. Asbel and 2 Alisha from the 3 SSR tickets from the luck tester. Man the game really loves giving dupes at the same time cause those are some long odds!

Wedding Alisha is the critical raid Memoria stone for the new Kanata.

I don't like relying on RNG for anything. I want hard numbers.

Like, I really hate the RNG OL buffs on the Spirits and boards because all of my builds are specifically to synch up a perfect run on Autoplay, and for some of my units it gives TOO MUCH OL if they get hit and fucks up the combos.

And no, even gaining 80 OL a turn her still needs another 27 a turn for a 3 turn cycle.

At least it's POSSIBLE, unlike Barbatos.

S. Kanonno stone and Stahn grant him 29 OL per turn. That should work for Kanata unless Stahn's awakening skill throws someone else off

Man yeah I'm not detail oriented enough to figure all that stuff out. Or maybe I just don't care enough or just don't want to auto? I dunno haha.

Also man...I've gotten pretty lucky with my pulls. I did another go through of the Kanata banner and on one of the steps I got a Yuna and Lloyd (in addition to a Kanata himself). As mentioned I just needed one more Lloyd to max him and now my Yuna stone is one away from max. And today on the free pull I got a Kongwai to max him to...and I maxed Sorey earlier from my pulls as well. So that'd three units I've maxed during anniversary so far...It's like the game knew who I needed and took pity on me...now I have several units who need 2-3 more awakenings to max and not sure what direction I want to go!

That's great. I have nine characters that need only 1-2 more awakenings, but they are all normal pool units. I'll get them when I get them. I've focused most of my awakening stones on limited units like Assid, Forte, Makina, and Kanata. I have three stones left and I'll probably hold them until I can awaken someone in one shot.,,maybe a new version of Vicious

These new units are fucked haha. Probably going to have to choose between S. Aegis and the current summer banner though for myself.

S. Aegis will have to wait. Got to pity on the Reid/Colette banner, pulled another Colette and chose her as my pity stone as well.

Went to pity on Kanata's banner...had to spend money on gleams to do it but eh, I play this game enough that it was worth it to me. Didn't get another Kanata sadly so had to use the 4 Awakening stones I had saved up to awaken him. Him and Colette are bonkers together. Everything dies in the arena. Had no trouble at all clearing the rest of the transcendent battles either to nab another Awakening stone. August will be here soon so I can awaken Colette at that point if I want.

I'll probably try Awakening Reid as well to cause I really could use a solid water unit but for now I'll just have to fight fire content with fire.

But if S. Yuna comes along I may have to pull for her haha. I might still pull on S.Aegis too once I stock up more on gleams.

oh, nice! Colette sounds nuts with Kanata. I want her also, but I think I will pass this time. My earth team needs more help so Aegis is a better fit.

It's likely that Kanata, Misella and Vicious will be limited anniversary units, and now that we have S. Aegis, it'd be odd to leave Yuna out.

Yeah assuming no misses, Colette and Forte combine for 92 hits right off the bat in the arena and then Kanata wipes with his AoE. Hell, at that point most AoE attacks would probably wipe a team but Kanata is overkill lol.

My earth team has been able to handle wind content well enough right now that I felt S. Aegis would be more of a luxury for me. Though he does seem to be the ultimate hit gen unit at the moment so if I have the gleams for it i may give him a pull or two.

And yeah makes sense. I'll probably have to pass on Misella and Vicious after going all in on Kanata but I think having at least one of them will be enough.

It might be better to save Forte's AoE for another turn's hitgen. In most cases, mine wipe the team after Forte buff and Milla AoE.

My earth team is fine with C. Milla and Forte as the foundation. So I don't need him. I had enough gleams going into this to go to pity on three potential anniversary banners, and I might just do that.
