Yeah this one is an easy pass. Don't need the wind hit gen from Hisui. Patty has a neat MA and great awakened ability but getting her there would take resources I want to give to other characters at the moment so too bad for her.

Tear hasn't been giving me problems. Takes a bit to kill sometimes but nothing bad! Are fully awakened ones rough? So far the only teams I've been losing to are backline Vicious/Kanata combos and S. Yuna teams with evasion.

Nah, it's not difficult. My losses have come to backline Kanatas although I don't lose any matches most weeks.

It looks like Luminaria will have a gacha for equipment but not for the characters. These two don't appear to have much in common. It might not mean anything for Crestoria.

The next units will be Flynn and Magilou. I'm probably going to have roll for Magikazam

Flynn and Magilou are rollable for me but I won't have 50k yet, at around 30 now. Oh well. I was gonna save for some arise specials but I haven't played the game yet so fuck it who cares

Five multis to get Magilou with S. Rokurou and Alvin along the way. Magilou has poison damage up panels so I think I'll keep her on the arena backline with S. Colette

Was willing to do 4 pulls for Magilou but she came home on the first pull! Also got a regular SR version of her lol. As a nice bonus, got a 2nd SSR in that pull which was S. Kanonno. Might have been the oldest unit I didn't have yet?

Gotta decide if I want to do a couple more pulls now or continue to save.

Lucky! My Rokurou pull had two copies of his SR version also. It's too bad Magilou's awakening talent is a little tame compared to other recent units.

Yeah she'll probably end up being a Dispel applier for me for those units that have dispel damage panels. Focusing on building up S. Reid right now anyway so I can afford to wait to awaken her.

I think my S. Reid is doing well enough with just 1*. That guy still blows up fire raids. After the shop reset, I have five awakening stones...not sure who gets them yet

I have 7 characters at 4/5 Awakening levels. Though the only one who isn't first gen is Alisha. So I could use some stones or wait till I get lucky again! Odds are favorable now!

And I did one more pull on the Magilou/Flynn banner just for fun and I got Flynn lol. Think that's the fewest pulls it took me to get both banner units haha. Flynn will probably replace S. Colette in raids for me since his single target hit gen is so good.

Nice luck. I wonder if Flynn will also be useful for future content with his defense buff. It doesn't seem necessary for anything right now.

My only 4/5s right now are OG Misella and both Velvets. I can wait on them, and most non limited units. Although some of the more recent ones are tempting like Colette or Aegis

Tis a sad day indeed. After over 5,000 arena battles which accounts for 100% of my battles...it's time to announce Velvet Crowe's retirement. Having started out as my DPS unit, she survived a couple reshuffles but more recently has served as my 2nd backrow unit offering her +10% attack and helping out M. Kohaku at times.

But it's become apparent that she's just not cutting it during those rare times my front line gets wiped by a backrow Kanata or something. So replacing Velvet shall be the fully transcended Kongwai who's AoE and debilitate panels shall hopefully work well with Vicious's Cursed Prison to give me a better chance during those battles. Additionally this should hopefully serve as a discount backrow Vicious/Kanata combo for when other people draw my team in the arena.

I decided to do the same with Stahn recently. He was part of my team from the beginning, and had settled into the backrow a while ago. I switched the backrow up to S. Colette and Magilou to cleanup backrow Kanatas when needed.

Anybody awakened that boosts attack? I'm using Earth Vicious, S. Aegis, Fire Kanata, and Makina with Magilou and S. Colette. Aegis has been quite good for me with only 1* if you have him

I did it. I finished all the Black Sorey events. That makes Sorey and S. Ludger as my fully awakened water units and takes care of hit gen. Magilou or Mikleo (leaning Magilou here) can apply dispel to take advantage of Sorey's dispel panels and then S. Reid nukes everything thanks to Sorey's awakened ability. Water team coming together nicely now!

I still have a ways to go for the Sorey event. Congrats.

A new shop will allow us to purchase old event stones. Now, I wonder which ones would make a good subgrid

Yeah I did a few every morning before work to drain some BP and by lunch I was back to full, would do another one or two. Rounded out the day by using some grape gels to finish an element if I felt like it. Once the quests started costing 45 and 50 BP it was brutal haha.

You can get the tickets by exchanging arena medals, raid medals, or the phantom tower tokens for them. Phantom tower sounds like the way to go.

My luck...has run out. 10 pulls in on Hasta and only a dupe of Mint and Mikleo to show for it. This does get Mikleo to 4/5 I suppose but was hoping to pull an EX unit or at least some newer characters that weren't available during anniversary. Gleams aren't completely exhausted but I dunno if I'll continue to pity. Got the tower available to restock for now at least.

I'm at 50k but I've never heard of hasta so I feel fine skipping

Tales of Luminaria releasing on 11/4. That's literally in one week.

Also it looks like the Global release is gonna be English voices only, which is really strange since mobile games generally let you pick what voices to have, and that's if they have a dub at all. But that's not really an issue to me.

It's a weapon-based gacha game with A LOT of characters that are all original. It's also not going to be a cross-over game with all the other Tales characters appearing in it as well. The gameplay appears to be more action with the phone in vertical mode.

But honestly, it feels like it could have been an original IP but they slapped the Tales label on it for branding purposes so it wouldn't flop on arrival.
