This new event structure is awful. It takes way too long to grind all the rewards. Thankfully, I don't care about these memoria stones either.

EX Phoenix looks fine to me but I dunno if I'm gonna pull. It'd be a long grind to max awaken him even but probably worth it since I have Velvet and Cronus max awakened already.

He's good, but I don't think I need him. Wind and Dark are the two elements I need the most, and he's not a character I care about at all

I think I'm going to do this healer step up banner. I have H. Estelle at 3/5 awakened, Misella and J. Zelos at none and wouldn't mind getting them more awakened. And C. Milla and Cheria are just good units that I don't have so I'd be happy with any of them really.

But yay water healer! This new Milla unit has some serious hit gen too and wouldn't mind pulling her either. Might do a pull or two on that one as well.

I have no idea who Reala is, and I was hoping it would be Raine.

I did the first discounted healer summon and got C. Milla which was the only one I have awakened. I'm not sure if I will complete it. Dupes of the others would be nice, and I don't have Cheria. I'm trying to stay about 40k gems for the anniversary

She's not an abhorrent person like Annie Barrs or anything but in my chronological Tales playthroughs late last year she was the first playable character I had to put in shit tier - I wanted to like her but... no she not only sucked but her character's just the worst part of the game.

Basically she's some stranger on a mission (searching for a hero) that Kyle stumbles on and blindly decides to follow and help because he desperately wants to be a hero like his dad (Stahn). Throughout their adventure though Reala just... refuses to ever tell the party who what or why anything is going on.

That's the main overall issue, she makes for a very contrived actor of the plot along with her relationship with Kyle - although oddly enough Reala+Kyle make for one of the better ending scenes of the series! However there was also that point of the game she was questioning the validity of complete global mind-controlled fascism...

Also got C. Milla on the 2nd step of the banner so success! Was disappointed I didn't get any of the Christmas units back when they came out so this is good. Will probably finish it up at some point.

I'm expecting to restock a lot of my gleamstones during the half AP events so I don't mind pulling right now.

I decided to awaken Milla, and now the transcendent Chronos battle was a breeze.

Haha yeah a lot of people on the reddit thread were saying she was basically made for the Chronos fight.

Don't have a whole lot of gleams right now so I only did one pull but I did get a dupe Kongwai which is nice. But no Milla/Reala sadly.

Gonna shoot for at least a million points for the event but water is not my best element so we'll see how hard it is. And the exchange for this event is terrible too.

The maps weren't a problem for me this time. Assid really carries my water team.

Did a pull of the support unit banner since it was a discount. I didn't really want any of the units but discount summon and all. Yuna and M. Rita dupes and H. Asbel as a R to SSR change. Of course this would be the pull I use up all my luck on lol

In other news...this event is terrible for me. My main team consists of awakened Forte and Cress but they're useless in these fire content missions. Slowly but surely I'll get there though lol

Nice luck! The discount is appealing, but I don't really want the focus units much either.

My max awakened Assid really carries this event. It's definitely better than the last one for me

Yeah I'm trying to save now too. Did like 2 pulls on the Milla/Reala banner and 1 on the step up for the discounted summon but that's it. Once the 1/2 price story events come up, I'm gonna grind some affinity and player rank levels to restock some of my supply as well.

I'm anticipating a banner with Kasque, Demon Vicious, and another like they had Assid, Forte, and Makina for the 6 month.

I'm saving up for that as well. I have about 30k gleams banked so I should be prepared

The new transcendent board tiles really shake things up. Chronos and Velvet got shafted, and Zelos becomes a great raid finisher. I might need to start awakening Makina

Some of these increase OL when attacked ones bother me. Can't really rely on something like that if you're specifically building a team for OLs to line up.

I'm assuming above 100% means equal to 100% and the translation is wrong.

The OL stuff is great for healers or strictly arena characters. I don't think I want that on my raid units.

Yes, and she already has high defense, a party heal and defense up skill, and a healing attack skill.

Well Golden Week is off to a great start. Got Estelle to put her at 4/5 haha. Got a couple SSR Awakening stones I could use with another coming in a couple days. Hm.

Also yeah Velvet got screwed haha. I have event Annie on her to give her some bulk and survivability so these less than 20% tiles are like whatever. And extra damage for burn status? Like why? At least Cress's seem useful. Don't have access to anyone else's so can't see what there's are but I imagine I won't be tackling the Evil content any time soon anyway.

Nice! I also got the Estelle I needed from the weekly quest ticket.

I could see that extra status effect damage being powerful in certain situations. It's easy damage up without a large combo if you have the right set of characters. The problem is boss immunity though

Oh for sure. It's just Burn status comes from fire units and you're not going to use fire units in water content where Velvet does the most damage. Unless you have a good Cress or Sorey the synergy for those tiles seems pretty low. Of course you can use Velvet outside of water content too but choosing the burn status for Velvet is just curious to me.

The transcendent boards are updated on the wiki. Some things that stood out to me

Christmas Sorey - 220% Atk boost in arena
Makina - 150% Atk boost in Arena
Showstopper Velvet - 160% Atk boost in Arena and 20 OL when attacked
Sync - 100% Atk boost for raids and arena
Christmas Mikleo - 220% Atk boost for raids
Zelos - 200% Atk boost for raids
Gaius - 130% Atk boost for raids
Assid - 150% Atk boost for raids

Sync and Kanata have a split focus with their atk buffs. They might be the only ones like that. Wind Yuri didn't make out well. I think Zelos and Gaius outdo him as a finisher now.

It's a joke how bad Velvet's board is, but at least her alt got good treatment. My awakening stones will definitely be going to Makina now.

I lucked out on a standard ticket - the one from the normal weekly quests. I think Stan got his from the daily free pull during the golden week event.

There do appear to be two SSR tickets we will be able to pick up from the golden week event, but we can't complete them yet

Good thing i will never have to fight against derpcat! Not terribly interested in either Raven or Anise here.

I do like Raven's look, but I'm not super interested either. I don't need an arena character that doesn't help me blow up the opponent's team on turn one, and Anise doesn't really help my wind team
