Confusing coincidence with irony is the only one on the list that Id say ever annoys me
Couples that say "we're pregnant" when only one of them actually is I dont think thats so much a mistake as it is just the way that many couples view things. When people write "per say" instead of "per se"I never see anyone use this phrase. Couples that say "we're pregnant" when only one of them actually isThe propagation of the human species in general is aggravating. Confusing coincidence with ironyClaiming to understand irony while giving examples that demonstrate one doesn't is itself ironic. Or maybe it isn't. I've come to expect that people don't understand what irony is. So maybe getting it right would be contrary to expectation. "Could care less" when they mean "couldn't"That means you do care, at least a little. When people write "tooshay" instead of "touch"Again, I don't think people use this anymore. "ect." instead of "etc."I just skim over it so fast I don't notice the the letters are transposed. Re-read that sentence. Collage instead of college, colon instead of cologne, and so on...I assume these are automated spell check errors in addition to the person being inattentive. --- No locked doors, no windows barred. Capitalizing words that do not require itI don't think I was properly taught the rules for capitalization myself. "I didn't do nothing" as a form of denialDouble negatives use to be a speaking convention used for emphasis. The increase in people learning additional languages, prevalence of legal contracts, and the writing of programs have resulted in greater importance on being precise in one's meaning. Other (comment)Is it "use to" or "used to"? "Of" in place of "have". Could of - could have.
