The British investigative journalism site Bellingcat pubilshed a video purported to be Riley expressing support for Adolf Hitler and pledging her allegiance to him.

The 36 video was posted on NBC News shows a heifer dancing to techno and extending her right arm with a voiceover 'Hammer was right all along. There is no political solution. All that is left is acceleration. Heil Hitler"

It's unclear when it was recorded but Bellingcat received it from an anonymous Antifa activist who identified her.

Riley's lawyer CONFIRMED it was indeed her telling NBC it was meant to be a "joke" and that she "opposes nazi's"

The hat symbol is knwon as "Black Sun" the same emblem worn by Brenton Harrison Tarrant when he killed 50 people at a Muslim mosque in New Zealand

Antifa also uncovered a slew of other racist and anti-semitic content on her social media

The heifer was busted on January 18th when she was charged with entering a restricted building. She was captured on video directing maga supporters where to go and was caught stealing the laptop belonging to Pelosi.

A few weeks later, she frantically went to her mother's house packing her things and telling her she was going away for while. the FBI went to the house when she was already gone but was caught a short time later..

Her ex bf, known as W1 told the FBI that she intended to sell it to Russia but when it fell apart she destroyed it or hid it away

Riley became obsessed with far right content online as she fell into proud boys and Alex Jones who is opposed to leftist ideals including abortion and gay lifestyles.

Prosecutors also got text on her phone thta said "i stole s*** from Nancy Pelesi (sic). I don't care i took Nancy Pelesis hard drives. i don't care, kill me"

Right next to it on wikipedia is a sad looking picture from a National Socialism Movement rally. Nick Fuentes was one of the more prominent neo-Nazis/crypto-fascists at the insurrection. His buddy Baked Alaska was there as well. A good chunk of those people hold these ideals regardless of OhhhJa's personally incredulity.

These people are the absolute dumbest of the extremely dumb. The FBI estimates that 10,000 people attended Trumps rally, and less than 10% of those deluded folks (800) went on to invade the Capitol. Of those 10K who found their way to the rally already represented a rarefied fraction of those dumb enough to believe the big lie that the election was stolen, those with enough money and/or blind fanaticism to make the effort to travel to DC. The 800 insurrectionists among them who were stupid enough to invade the Capitol, unlike the majority of smarter rally attendees who at least had enough sense to know it was a bad idea to storm a federal building let alone try to assassinate people, represent a extremely pure distillation of dumbass.

"Neo Nazi" does tend to get used as a blanket term for all white supremacist organizations, largely because the white supremacy/racial cleansing angle is the primary thing Nazis are remembered for. It's a bit of an overgeneralization, but there are nonetheless plenty of white supremacists that would consider themselves neo-Nazis and adorn themselves with swastikas and wolfsangels and the like despite aligning with only a relatively small subset of Hitler's views, and there's room to argue that any distinction beyond that is largely academic and that adopting a broad label with fewer syllables is therefore reasonable.

That does not, however, mean that people are using the term to describe anyone they don't like, as you claimed and have yet to support. Any plans on changing that, Mr. Gyrification?
