I've been thinking of watching Galaxy Angel at some point, partly because the show sounds interesting but mostly because I saw Yukari Tamura is in the main cast. But it seems to be a pretty long series, and I also have no idea if it's available for legal streaming anywhere.

I dont think that it is. And some of them are very hard to get. Galaxy angel rune vol 4 is one of the rarest animes out there

Yeah, apparently today's episode isn't a finale at all, just the episode 11 as it originally would have been before the recap happened. TV time slots are a bitch though so we'll be getting the real finale at the end of June.

There's blood, but you don't see any actual damage or cut skin or anything. The style the show is in helps with that I think, in a way that combat is taken seriously but not in a way that makes one go "oh, gross :l" or something. For episode 1 anyway. I'll keep watching it and I'll let you know if it changes.

I've been watching more HnK in the past week. Got up to through the first Raoh fight (assuming there will definitely be more). I'm surprised everyone made it through that. Well maybe everyone, it looks like Rei is fucked. Sucks seeing him writhing in pain knowing he has three days left to live. Hopefully Ken, Toki or Mamiya find a way to save him but it doesn't look good.

This whole dog village place they are in screams "filler episode/arc" so I'm wondering if it was in the manga.

Started Konosuba (Yes, finally Caelthus) season 2.

Itachi157 posted... IIRC dog village was in the manga, and yes it felt like filler there too. As you probably have picked up on HnK has a bit of a weird pacing with following the big spectacles with those dopey villain of the week interludes.
Out of interest I looked up to confirm how many episodes were legit filler, and surprisingly the count is pretty low at 21 total.
Your assumption is on the mark, you haven't yet seen the last of Raoh.
I won't spoil what's in store for Rei but he's one of the defining characters of Buronson/Hara's "glorious suffering" style.

Arrow/Prax vs. Kai/Ren was a lot of fun, especially with Arrow/Prax using the sky wall traps to their advantage and Kai/Ren splitting/re-combining mid-fight to dodge attacks. Then we got Fine entering the battle with a unique tank/healer briheight, Zetsu putting on TEN FUCKING BIND WARPERS to manifest his insane briheight and take over the battle, and psycho Fine coming back ready to tear someone limb from limb with a more offense-focused version of Fine's briheight. The hype is real!

Just watched it and holy shit what a hype episode. One of the best ones so far. New OP and ED are great too. Slim Rudolph looks pretty cool. And man I'm glad that bad Fine is back. I knew that her Briheight will have another form when Fine's bad side takes over!

Honestly I was legitimately surprised by Redo of Healer's adaptation, it really shows how lax sexual content is these days that you have full on sex scenes that only avoid showing the monster dong.

I'm shocked that the anime went harder than the Manga for healer. Usually it's the anime adaptation that tones it down, but this time they went full send.

Also top right is the Goat slice of life RomCom, HoriMiya. Shits so sweet it's almost depressing

I'm an absolute sucker for original anime, and the first two episodes of Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song that aired today have me super hyped right from the get-go. I already see a ton of potential in this series, both in terms of incredible visuals and a wild story.

This is the most hyped I've been from an original anime's first week since Revue Starlight.

I just finished the two Vivy episodes as well and damn, those were really good lol. I admit from my small batch this season, I expected the least out of this one, and now if it continues like this it'll be the one I like the most.

Kamen Rider is getting its first proper anime and thats really cool. Fuuto Tantei is a sequel to Kamen Rider W. I need to rewatch that before I watch this.

Hopefully the opening will be by Aya Kamiki and TAKUYA again like how they did the W opening.

Fuck it, I'm gonna watch Gridman before Dynazenon comes out. Been thinking about Power Rangers lately and this might scratch the itch.

I've been watching Gridman myself recently (it was in my plan-to-watch for a while but Toonami getting it moved it up the list) and I'll be finishing it tonight. The action scenes and main cast have been great, but the overall story has been really dull and I don't feel invested in Akane at all. Unless the finale does something to really impress me, I'm probably giving it a 7/10 at most. Hopefully Dynazenon has a more interesting story.
