You can already get them on the WiiU's VC. It's not that weird to have them on a console (although, admittedly, I did play it primarily on the gamepad).

That said, I agree. Such a collection would be nifty.

If they did, hopefully they'd combine the versions somehow. The easy way to do it in 4's case would be to remove the generic tournament Navis which had no business being there in the first place.

Battle Network was of my favourite game collections from any franchise. 3 was the best one, I replayed that thing so many times.

Good games never get rereleased, and the best part of the game was the multiplayer.
Competitive EXE 6 is really fun, but it's annoying to play online.

Looking at that they were both on one cart but it didn't actually combine the games' content.

Except an idealized EXE PC port will never happen. That would be too good to be true, and would lead to immense sadness for me as I don't think Capcom is capable of creating a successful EXE online community.

I'd play it. I don't remember the games that well, but I do remember my brother had them. And I got one of them and played it. I really liked it. I don't even remember why. If they remade them, I'd buy it...

If they did, it'd be broken up into multiple collections like Capcom did with the Megaman and Megaman X collections.

I've tried very hard to get into the MegaMan battle network games over the years. It just feels like the worst part of rock, paper, scissors, combined with the worst part of Castlevania style dodging attacks, and card collecting gatcha mechanics before that became financially exploitable by the game makers instead of time exploitable by slapping a coin slot on your device, which has been the goal of game makers since home consoles became a thing.

And oh yeah, the floor falls away at random in boss fights. That was a great idea!

Like I get it, but it's really not my jam at all despite really trying to give it a chance.

I would love for a switch version collection. Then again... I wish the switch allowed for dual screens(you could hook up to your tv with a special connector and like the GBA and Crystal Chronicles, the switch acts as the menu/2nd screen).

Collections are a series of games collected on one disc. They're not going to combine them all into one game.

This is a different case that doesn't have a clear precedent to compare to.

The closest I can think would be the Symphonia collection which had the bonus content from the PS2 version that never came out in America

That wasn't complete either since they didn't include the 2nd game that also had bonus content.
