Calwings 02/04/21 6:48:42 PM #64:	I played some Birdie Crush last night and today. Upon first impressions, I really like the game and the way it plays. There are only four characters in the game right now (no idea if they'll add more later on) but they're all cute. The gacha aspect comes from getting equipment to increase their stats and cosmetic items to make them look even cuter, and there's a lot of options and customization in both regards. The actual gameplay aspect is a lot of fun, and there are tons of themes holes/courses, different game modes, and different ways you can play. It's a really good mobile golf title, the best I could ask for short of just downloading a GBA emulator and Mario Golf: Advance Tour, but I totally wouldn't do that. Unfortunately, there's one major flaw that might lead me to uninstalling it, and that's how it runs on my phone. The "Normal" performance setting make the graphics look horrendously awful to the point of hurting my eyes just looking at it, while the "Highest" setting makes it drain my phone's battery at an insane rate and makes my phone heat up like a volcano. Then finally, the "Good" setting in between those two doesn't fix either problem, because the game still looks bad (just not quite as bad as on Normal), still drains my battery quickly (just not quite as quick as on Highest), and still makes my phone heat up like crazy. To make things worse, I find it really hard to play the game and hit the shot timings while my phone is plugged into the charger because of the way my hands are positioned. So to be able to play Birdie Crush as much as I would like to, I feel like I would basically have to devote almost all of my battery life to it and play all three of my other gacha games only when my phone is plugged in, which defeats the purpose of them being mobile games. Despite how fun the game is (and it's really fun) I think the performance and battery drain issues are just far too much of an inconvenience for me to stick with it, and that's a damn shame. Otherwise I did manage to beat 8-15 for princess arena, which was easier than I expected. Just build 2 teams and exploit people who also basically only have 2 teams Also managed to get to sub 1000 ranking in Arena, but running out of people with poor gears. It's possible to get a full team of full gears by about lvl 54 or 55 so anything higher is probably not an easy win. I dunno what the events are gonna look like, but the gameplay loop is pretty tiring. Some of these equipments have ridiculous requirements too. She's pretty solid once you get her to 2 stars, but there are others better. Consider raising Miyako if you have her (she's a natural 2-star so she's fairly common and you might even have her already) or saving up your dungeon coins to unlock Nozomi. 2) Yukari is more useful than just protecting from magic enemies with her UB, especially once you get her to 2 stars. Her TP boosting ability is excellent, and her healing, while not good enough to be a dedicated healer, is nice too. Consider using her as a support instead of Kokkoro more often, especially if it's a situation where your tank just barely dies before the end so you don't get 3 stars. 3) Karyl is pretty bad, don't bother with her unless she's your waifu. Your dungeon coins have far better uses than on her, like unlocking Nozomi or ascending Yukari. Having Yukari also makes you incredibly magic resilient, and she heals and bumps up TP for units like Makoto or your tank.
