I'm curious to know exactly what transpired. Apparently it was a very late diagnosis. But he must have known something was wrong to finally get "it" checked out. Maybe he wasn't already feeling so great? I think chemotherapy takes a toll on a lot of people. Apparently he had just started it but clearly wasn't on it for long.
