So it sounds like for the upcoming 1.3 stuff youll be able to pick a free 4* character? out of these options (Xiangling, Xinyan, Beidou, Ningguang, Xingqiu or Chongyun)

Also heard the next banners are Xiao and random Keqing

The free 4* is nice, I can either get my first Ningguang or Xingqui. Not sure which yet, both have merits.

The banners are a bit interesting since there's only two weeks between them instead of three. Not sure what that means. No interest in either character, anyway, but I'm still waiting for Hu Tao.

The double leyline bonus event is pretty exciting though. I'm going to be hitting EXP hard then, I think.

Yeah this, tho from what the text at the bottom of the image says it looks like 1.3 has 3 banners instead of the normal 2.

I'm at 78 pulls or something since my last 5* lol.

Ganyu>Keqing>Xiao, but saving for Hu Tao in case I don't get her as my first 5* on her banner whenever it finally comes is tempting... And Sucrose is the only 4* I'm missing. I'll prolly just save, but we'll see if the English stream clarifies. We are only getting two weeks of Xiao's banner, so maybe they're just doing 3 two week banners instead of 2 three week banners.

How the hell are people getting high points in the boss trio fight? I cant kill them all even without a timer checked. The 3 of them have to collectively waste at least 5 mins being completely invulnerable. I used a full set of Elemental boost potions and the Adeptus food item along with some other food and cant kill them all in time. I mean I can set it to easy just to get primos, but I was hoping to get the title card at least lol

Mostly, I used Xiangling's E, C6 Fischl's E, and Xiangling's autos to rack up a lot of damage on the cube during the downtimes. Xiangling's ult also tears through the electro's revival totems thing. I also brought Ganyu to add a bit of ice damage for the electro one and to snipe the geo one without having to bust the pillars, but if you don't have her, just grab any claymore-wielder to chew through the pillars.

I put it on normal with everything ticked except 1 thing (I forget what) plus lowest timer and 100% HP. Pretty easy to wail them down and it just becomes a question of how many death cycles you need as you can take them from 100% to death cycle in 1-2 phases. Gets like 1695 points.

I made the mistake of taking out Xiangling instead of Qiqi (who I didn't use) for Noelle (for Geo). I forgot Xiangling solos the Electro final bit with her triangle. So all 3 of them took me 2 death cycles and I cleared with 59 second left of the 5 minutes.

I could probably clear on higher difficulty but I'm over 14k total points and all the rewards after that are trash. I may revisit it if I get bored later as I can likely get over 20k total if I invest a tiny bit in Noelle instead of taking her in as a 20

And my 5 summons from todays goodies are all blues. Puts the pity timer at 63 though.

Edit: Oh, my normal summon pity timer is also at 63.

Man, I don't know which DPS is responsible for it but doing coop in a party of Diluc, Jean and Ning was annoying even if we cleared competently. I guess one of those juggles mobs in the air which sucks for Tartaglia melee mode

If by chew, you mean nibble. It takes two complete spin cycles to clear a pillar. Sure, that's better than the alternative, but when you can apparently just snipe the cube...

Counting out my potential wishes before Ganyu's banner ends almost daily. Bad news: I'm 10 behind where I thought. Good news: Monthly shop resets before the banner ends. I might be able to burn all my starglitter to have a shot at soft pity. And have a coin flip at Ganyu. I really shouldn't be getting my hopes up.

It does, but then she does 0 damage to the cube when it falls. Her Ult is great for the end though when you just need to crush 3 pillars to win

Well I got a Qiqi from Ganyu's banner, which is good, because it means now that I can get Hu Tao for sure rather than having the 50/50 risk, if I can hit pity... Which, we'll see.

I know pity carried over, I didn't realize the guaranteed featured hero on the second pull if you didn't get them the first pull carries over.

Everything I've read said both the 90 pull pity and the guarantee of the featured 5* carries over.

Q6: If I get a non-featured 5-star character this banner and stop pulling, will the rule that says I will be guaranteed a featured 5-star on my next 5-star pull still stand?
A: Yes, it will still stand which mihoyo themselves have confirmed in the JP website's FAQs. This effects stands even if you skip multiple Character Event banners since all of them share the same Banner Type (as stated in Q2).
Example: You pull Qiqi who's not a featured character in Childe's Character Event Banner. If you stop pulling now, and start pulling again in the next Character Event Banner (Zhongli), your first 5-star pull on that banner will be guaranteed the featured unit

Did anyone have any issues with Geoculus's not appearing?

Finally used Geoculus finders for the last few I need. I couldn't find the geoculus anywhere in the circle so I looked it up on a guide. I'm standing in the exact spot the guide shows, geoculus blue circle is showing, no geoculus on the map like in the guide. It says to use the air current to get it, when I use the current there is no geoculus to be seen anywhere.

My experience with oculi is that if you can't find them, you're probably at the wrong altitude. But you said you were using air currents, so I dunno.

The good news is there's one extra, so you can afford to skip that one.

I have no idea what I did or did not get and I'm relying purely on Geoculus trackers. So it's possible the circle is bugged but I'm not going to check every location to find out

I'm thinking either Ning+Geo Traveler+??? or Razor, but I'm really not sure which route is better to go. Def need to put some shit into Xingqui for when I need water, already leveling Diona a bit because I've started getting annoyed with Overload outside of boss fights.

For floors 1-8?

Xinyan + Bennett + Zhongli + Kaeya on one side. Xinyan/Bennett as the core for DPS/Healing, the other two depending on elements needed. I put Kaeya because the biggest trouble are Electro Fatui on this side.

Razor + Diona + Fischl + Xingqiu/Barbara on the other side. Razor/Diona are the core on this side. The Hydro characters because this side deals with a lot of Pyro shields.

Edit: Oh didn't see Qiqi. Can be Qiqi on one side and Diona on the other for Electro Fatui and additional healing.
