Nonstop. I also constantly jump and dive indefinitely in 3D Mario games, which makes Galaxy a very uncomfortable game to play.

Sometimes when I start a new Mario game it takes me a couple levels to remember about the run button, but after that I never let go unless necessary.

This. When I first read the question I was like "oh gosh, barely at all" but as I thought about it I realized it's so natural I literally don't think about it. It's almost as if it should always be in run with a slow button.

I'm not sure I do. I'm not good at the series. It is needed a lot of the time, though. Just awkward in execution to hold a face button while hitting others.
