These people think the government is trying to control you. You think that would stop it? Some of these people are smart.

Someone on CE said that they got moderated for calling Republicans a Cult/Cultists. Just FYI. (Though they should if they want to be consistent because one of my past moderation reasonings absolutely supports that being a moderation - when I said "sane people don't support burning down businesses and this is why Biden will come out against it if he wants to win the election" and I got moderated because "I implied that Democrats are not sane people". Not joking).

lol?

I have said this a million times, and I will say it again. The difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals view things in theory and in ideal situations. They speak from the heart and what is the best they want for the world ideally.

Conservatives, in general, view things from experience and reality. They know the things liberals wish to attain in many times is not feasible or possible. They speak from the brain and what is the best that can be possibly done.

"liberals don't use their brains." this is what you were essentially saying in this post.

That's your opinion, and it would be consensus not blanket.

Liberals speak for what they feel is right in their hearts not with understanding of why it cannot be due to limitations and life around them. Conservatives speak from what they understand is realistic. Liberals turn into conservatives more later in life when they start to understand life more and that their dreams and hopes are bound by reality.

Conservatives speak from their feelings just as much as liberals. Both sides believe theyre seeing reality correctly. The difference is that liberals incorrectly see reality from a futuristic perspective (ie. If we lived in a perfect world, x, y, and z would all be true and thus we should strive for x, y, and z without grasping the realistic problems that prevent them from existing at this time.). Conservatives, meanwhile, see reality from a past perspective (ie. Everything was one way back in my day and therefore any changes to meet the changing global economy are either unnecessary or unfair to me, because I never had any advantages that you want to give other people now.)

https://www.newsweek.com/62-percent-americans-blame-gop-trump-2k-stimulus-checks-stalemate-poll-1558507

A 62 percent majority of Americans said they blame congressional Republicans and President Donald Trump for failing to hash out an agreement for $2,000 stimulus relief checks.

National polling data from Data for Progress, a progressive think tank, released Friday from among 1,166 likely voters found that 47 percent blame Republicans in Congress and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell specificallywhile just 15 percent blame Trump for not supporting the $600 to $2,000 direct payment increase earlier.

...

The majority of Americans surveyed in the latest Data for Progress polls do appear to blame Republicans (62 percent). But progressives have become split after Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer led several Democrats Friday in pushing through a defense spending bill which Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders wanted to use as leverage for $2,000 checks.

...

But critics responded to Omar's sharing of the Data for Progress polls that show blame being pointed at Republicans, with many asking why she and others voted in favor of the $600 checks in the first place. Many responses wondered why Democrats didn't leverage Senate Republicans for the $2,000 checks.

Which Democratic senators actually support the $2000 checks, though? So far, at least 41 of them don't seem to think it is much of a priority, but they moved hella quick to defeat Bernie's filibuster alongside their Republican friends to overfund the Pentagon," wrote Utah resident Josh Bowden.

Wow it's almost like everything i said before about this situation was correct and prematurely chickening out on pushing for $2000 was fucking stupid

hm.
a state rep for PA just died of a brain aneurysm (Mike Reese).
had covid last month.

could be a coincidence but there's known neurological damage that can occur, including to the brain that aren't affected due to lack of oxygen. was just a few days ago a study showing blood vessels and inflammation in the brain may be a direct result of it, with damage seen that'd normally be associated with strokes, for example. all ties back with the faintings in China we saw last year too, as well as the notable aging in severe cases.

The problem I had with the moderation though was the moderator applied the not sane comment to Democrats himself. My comment was specifically about people who supported burning down businesses, and even made a point to state that Biden wasn't going to support it because it's not sane. So saying I implied Democrats doesn't actually make sense. Most Democrats don't support burning down businesses.

insurance also is updated yearly, usually in July or January, which is why i said that in the future tense. it's a known trend since last month now since people are finding out that they ain't getting renewals and brokers are getting word about coverage changes due to rioting.

https://www.oregonlive.com/business/2020/12/insurers-balk-at-covering-portland-businesses-brokers-say-downtown-upheaval-has-made-carriers-wary.html
(same article, no incognito needed - https://archive.is/EH9R6 )

they ain't getting covered. if they do it's at massively increased premiums and won't include certain damages, like, say... those from rioting.

That's simple. It's just the optics of what can be shown on the news/shared on social media. Property damage/looting/rioting/whatever is an easy sell. People getting sick isn't. We've seen it over and over again, even from certain people that post here, that they didn't take COVID seriously until it happened to them personally. People don't get overly riled up over things that are "invisible" and that they don't relate to.
