Both in impact and its iconic and enduring popularity, the KOTOR spoiler pretty much excels in every respect. It defines the series and also creates a high-water mark for the Old Republic franchise that has never been reduplicated. Also, when people think of KOTOR, they by and large think of the spoiler. And as a spoiler, unlike the FF7 spoiler, it really and truly ruins the game if you are aware of it ahead of time. The game is meant to be played unspoiled.
