I feel like most are around $60-70CAD? Or down to $30. Boots (if quality) can be over $200, but decent shit can be found for under $100.

I'd probably spend up to $200 if I really liked the shoes and they fit like a glove. But that'd be a one time thing. I own some $350 dress shoes from when I worked at an optometry office. The owner liked to buy loyalty. Let's get some shoes~!

20. The most expensive footwear I own are my hiking shoes and those cost me 30. Shoes don't last me long enough to warrant spending a lot.

I spent $100 on really nice running shoes once, but that was an outlier.
Aside from that, never spent more than like $40-$50 on shoes.

My running shoes cost about $120. My boots are $200, but work covers the cost since we have to have steel toes.

I think $50-80 is probably about the sweet spot for getting athletic shoes that arn't junk, or overpriced.

I think about $150 for a pair of Js as a kid/teen...

Probably never again unless I get really rich (even then I highly doubt it)

For casual going out sneakers? 30 bucks

But I have spent 200 on custom running shoes for my flat feet. I need to get new ones too, my left foot is killing me after the 5 miler I did Sunday

Custom running shoes? Tell me more. I've got real flat feet and I stick with custom orthotics and Brooks Ghosts seem to work well with them, but I'm always interested in other solutions especially since I do seem to deal with some hip and knee injuries every once in a while.

I almost never buy sneakers. Last pair I bought was Kirkland brand from Costco and I think they were $20. They're wearing out pretty quickly but I tend to use them on gravel so they take a lot of abuse.

I have spent as much as $130 on work boots, but you tend to get what you pay for with them. They lasted a LONG time. I finally just wore out the soles, the rest of the boot was in decent condition.

My limit is $70 but I am not a sneaker guy and never understood the fascination of people and Air Jordans. It always boggles my mind when I past a footlocker store and see people lined up waiting for the "new Jordans".

You're very predictable. I've worn more exspensive stuff that I didn't buy and the same result. Sorry for feel the need to justify your purchases but they are pointless for me. Also the 30 hiking stuff are still in tact. Educate yourself.
