can you still eat spicy foods with absolutely zero consequences (e.g. heartburn, upset stomach, digestive issues, etc.)?

Depends on how much

My normal spicy korean soup? Just fine

Eating a burrito white pouring my favorite habanero hot sauce on each bite?

Poops of fire

No. I singed my entire digestive track raw with El Yucateco hot sauce and it's never been the same since.

I can still handle the spice and the gurgle but a man can only pass so many hot snakes.

It still has the same effect on me as when I was younger.

I used to get heartburn/acid reflux, but since I stopped drinking soda over a decade ago, it went away completely.

I've actually had fewer issues after eating spicy foods than in the past. For some reason tex-mex always spelled a trip to the restroom going up, but not any more.

Oh I know, that's just one example. Thai food would be another. But I haven't really felt worse or noticed difficulties digesting stuff.

depends on the spices used. if i order spicy from thai restaurant, i'll get the sweats and runny nose and probably some painful shits the next day. but if i have leftovers the next day the pain isn't so bad. so it's typically fine if i am in my normal spice tolerance levels. i put cayenne or sriracha, or both, on pretty much everything.

Yes. I have no problems with hot food. Though I only started to eat hot food a few years ago, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Before the pandemic i switched to a much healthier diet and my acid reflux (which I've had since college) as well as a bunch of other things went away. Diet and exercise will keep you young
