i do know that aiming sucks, on console at least. it definitely needs more aim assist than the amount it has of none, despite apparently having it.

and how come if i want to walk around naked, i can't. looking down i just see underwear despite my big floppy cock being on the inventory screen.

The driving and having to reload because something broke are the two things concerning me the most... But after pouring like 100+ hours into Morrowind on the OG Xbox, I think I can probably cope. I hope...

i don't know if i don't like it or not, it's just as of right now, it's not entertaining me that much.

the aiming definitely keeps upsetting me because no amount of tuning makes it feel any better, on a controller anyways. mouse is probably fine.

and no, i didn't go into this game with super high expectations, if anything it was the opposite. i went into it thinking it was going to be bad, and it's actually surprised me and is pretty decent. the atmosphere is amazing, the characters are interesting, the glitches are fuckin plentiful, but

i just don't know.

I already returned it the controls suck, supposedly you can tweak things to improve them, but it didn't seem worth it to me. I'll look into it some year when it's on sale or something.

Only glitches Ive encountered so far are that the generic background NPCs are janky as fuck

multiple areas have had a character just kind of flailing about, one of them was clearly supposed to be using his smartphone or whatever but the NPC was crouched down to the ground so the phone was just floating on top of his upper back

in another area all the generic NPCs in unison stopped what they were doing, and nonchalantly started walking away single file to another part of the city. It was actually really creepy and I followed them wondering what event they were headed towards. They just slowly wandered off into different directions though.

Im digging the game though. I really like how theyve sort of combined a traditional XP system where you gain experience for completing missions and tasks, but also a big portion of your XP comes from just using your skills on things.

Also at one point in an early mission you have to carry this naked woman to get help from some trauma dudes, and from your viewpoint one of her boobs is just kinda in your face. Its important that you get her life saving care quickly, but also while youre walking if you move the camera around the visible boob bounces around ridiculously I appreciated the realism of that segment

Some console shooters feel okay with or without aim assist. Depends how it's implemented. KB+M is superior of course.

Man... the launch edition or whatever came with a lot of cool stuff. A book with tons of lore info, a steelbook, postcards, a map, stickers... and it was 30% off because of some promo from almost 2 years ago.

I played the game for 3 hours or so, and I like it so far. The console version is very clearly last gen in terms of how it looks, but that frame rate is pretty solid. No technical issues as of yet, though I did see some NPCs standing on the sidewalk clipping each other. I wish you could do the Ubisoft thing of "pick your stuff for stats then make it look like other things" so your character doesn't look like they robbed a lost & found while in a drunken stupor. Definitely can't wait for that new gen patch tho...

It's still early on, but I definitely think Immortals is a better game so far.

If you go to the crafting part of your inventory its actually pretty easy to upgrade the stuff that you think looks cool to beef up the stats

Having played this for a few hours I can confirm this game is great. I still need to dig into its systems but I'm certainly enjoying my time. Even on base PS4 it still looks good. I will say the bugs need ironing out though. I had two crashes, one after the other.

Immortals is pretty new and allows you to choose one for stats and one for looks. Also: it's way better than Cyberpunk and I am shilling it hard up in this joint.

well then buy it for me if you think it's so much better
