It is. But there is also a chain of sit down restaurants using that name. They mostly focus on burgers.

Mcdonalds. I don't really see the point of wendy's over mcdonalds. Never had red robin's.

Red Robin has better burgers then some fancy restaurants I've been to, all their burgers are made with angus beef.

Yeah I was going to say this. If the poll was just about McDonald's vs Wendy's then Wendy's would win hands down.

I don't think I've ever had an amazing burger from Red Robin but it was definitely far better than any fast food burger.

I think a lot of this hinges more on if peoples' local restaurants just suck. While many chains tend to be fairly similar wherever, there are bad and good ones around.

I didn't say anything about a healthy burger but those chains are so terrible that 99% of everywhere else you could get a burger would be healthier and taste better also. But if you like 9 month old frozen patties of the cheapest meat they could find, then that's your thing, sadly.

From the poll, I would say McDonalds since I miss Wendys old fries and that McDonalds has more of a selection I want. Plus, the only thing I get at Wendys these days is their chicken and nachos. Never had Red Robin, though, since we dont have one here.

red robin is not a thing here, but wendy's is definitely better than mcdonald's overall (with the exception of the fries, maybe)

mcdonald's just isn't as good as it used to be and i'm not sure why

I don't eat regular burgers, but I did get a beyond burger from Red Robin not long after they came out there and it was like 3/4 bread. Are all the burgers like that? It was like $13 or something and most of it was bread.

Its been awhile but I don't recall Red Robin being anything special.

Wendy's though, omg.

One of my co-workers described Red Robin as putting fancy ingredients on mediocre burgers, and while I have only eaten there three times I can agree with that.

That said, out of the three it is clearly the best. A mediocre burger will beat a fast food burger any day of the week.

Angus beef != high quality beef. Angus is just a breed of cattle, specifically from Scotland. You can have low quality Angus beef, and you can have high quality Angus beef, it has nothing to do with the breed.

What matters more is what part of the cattle the beef comes from. If all they use is chuck, then it isn't going to be as good as if they use a mix of chuck and sirloin.
