My apartment is on the way to his work and is about 2 minutes from the workplace, like they directly drive by it. Mainly stopping by 2-3 times to play with the kitty for a few minutes, scoop the litter once. Everything is automated just dont want the kitty feeling totally abandoned and getting possible anxiety.
Theyd of course do it for free but Im thinking of just giving them $50? Or is that too low? ... Copied to Clipboard!

$50 is pretty good, I used to give my dad $20 to let my dog out and give him food when I was working late (before I started working from home).

If it's a friend, you don't give them any money, you take them out to dinner or get them a small gift. The only time you might pay them is if you were covering the cost of some expense, but it doesn't sound like there is one here.
