- nothing too complex or heavy - not fantasy or sci fi - not animated - set somewhere visually interesting The things he liked include Emily in Paris, The Most Extraordinary Homes, and Street Food Asia. If he likes true crime stuff, Evil Genius and Tiger King are good, although they're an hour long each.

If hes into historical stuff, maybe Turn. I havent seen it but my dad loved it. Its longer episodes though, probably 40-45 minutes each.
