I've decided I'm just going to take the first roll that gives me Makoto, regardless of who else comes with it. I'll make do with whoever else.

That's exactly what I did. I have no intention on pulling during the soft launch. Don't expect to make a ton of progress right away by doing this though. There aren't any events right now so the constant walls don't bother me too much.

PPeco is different from 6* Pecorine, which is an upgrade to the freebie. Technically, Princess Form is a plot-relevant upgrade and Kyaru has yet to receive hers.

Do you have her set to a hard mode fleet? Commissions wont select anyone who is set to any of them and I think also ignores anyone set to either exercise fleet.

It automatically took her out of my exercise fleet, although Im not sure about hard mode; Ill need to check on that.

It took me 19 attempts, but I finally got Makoto in a re-roll (as the guaranteed 3-star in the very first roll) so now I can start playing PriConne. Out of sheer curiosity, I'm going to see how long I can go without spending one single gem (AKA just using Makoto, the four beginning freebies, and whatever characters I can farm myself without needing the gacha) before I hit a wall that I can't overcome without pulling for someone new. I'll be amazed if I can actually hold out until Grea arrives, because then I'll have an absolute fuckton of gems saved for her.

I've basically never cared about PvP in gacha games no matter what I pull. I'll either auto-battle it and accept whatever rewards I can get (not caring about the rank) or just completely avoid PvP modes entirely if it's a game where you can't auto-battle through it.

There are some 100% confirmed catgirls like IDW and M500, some girls with animal ears that kind-of-sort-of-maybe resemble cat ears like G41 and ART556, and some that have accessories that resemble cat ears like Mk23, P7, FMG-9, and TMP. There's absolutely enough in the game to fill out a full 5-doll echelon... whether you can actually get your hands on enough of them is a different story though, since a few of them are old login/event bonuses not in the normal crafting pool (I don't remember if they ever get re-run some other way) and G41 is a 5-star who's pretty tough to find.

More likely than not you'll be able to get to 5-11. I agree with you normally about PVP, but in Priconne it appears to be the main source of premium currency and with at least 3 modes (Battle Arena, Princess Arena, and Clan Battle) with specific character's shards locked behind the PVP currencies it's something it looks like we have to do.

This is the issue. The game doesn't give any notification that she's in a hard mode fleet somewhere yet withholds them from commissions. Also, level doesn't effect chance of finding anything.

In a rare move, a large amount of ships are getting a minor buff specific to each ship with the upcoming Operation Siren mode. Takao (and everyone in her class) for example has a quicker All Out Assault activation and gets a 10% evasion buff when it activates. I know there is a leaked list out there but I'd like to find an official confirmation on it.

Not great. I tend to get a win every few matches instead of a consistent basis. I guess it could be worth doing one multi considering 2* units would give the team a decent boost. I'm halfway to ascending three of the starting characters though, so I'd rather see how they fair at 2*.

You get gems the first time you beat your ranking, then a set amount of gems daily based on your rank.

Rankings only reset like, once a year, and the amount of gems you get per day is like 10-20, so its not a substantial loss if you lose most of your matches anyway. Ive basically hit my limit in regular arena.

On a side note, you guys dont celebrate birthdays yet, do you? JP Priconne has Shinobus birthday greeting today (so tomorrow, I guess). I doubt its implemented, but I figure I may as well ask.

A nice perk. I only use gems for dock space and still find myself with only a small (30-unit) buffer or so most of the time. Gonna need to check on that info later.

You don't need to have them for the birthday notification to pop up.

We even got notifications for the iDOLM@STER trio. We should've had Emilia's too, but I can't remember hers.

I think they first got implemented at the end of March this year, with Peco's birthday being the first celebration. Though that meant missing out on Ram/Rem's birthday.

I remember Ilya's birthday got COVID'd and she lost her voice, but a week later, Kokkoro had her birthday and her voice was intact.

My fingers are tingly but I did it.

Fucking hell that last EX stage for the Arknights event was a pain in the ass. Luckily the challenge mode was essentially the same since movement speed of those bosses played basically no role in how I dealt with the stage lol

I kinda figured that would be a recurring theme in other gacha, some of the catgirls I mentioned are also part of limited time events/collabs, or they're part of very bloated general summoning pools.

I was also mistaken about DQ of the Stars; There's a cosmetic piece you can craft that would allow your whole team to have cat ears ...but being Dragon Quest, its more fitting to make them bunnies instead anyway.

I held onto my fast forward tickets until 76 and then used them after you get 4 extra teams.

Level 126 gets you event rift sweep so you can auto the Lvl 70 with your strongest units and then sweep with the bonus units.

also I've been trying to get Xiangling but the enemies on floor 3 of Spiral Abyss are super tanky to my lv 30-40 party with lv 40 weapons. Guess I need to grind more AR so I can upgrade them further.

yep, the mage dudes are pretty bonkers. I E2'd Nightingale since she's one of the few characters that helps against mages and it barely feels like it made a difference.

I'm slightly uncomfortable with how bad the last group of stages is no doubt going to be now lol

I still need to do the EX stage for 5 as failed several times on the first day it was out and just been grinding the last 3 stages since.

Also struggling on the latest "christmas" voyage for AFK Arena on the first few teams. I don't have the time for all this struggle :(

Ring out the enemies in 3-2.
In the end you don't need any stars, you just have to beat 3-3.
Elemental reactions also make a huge difference if you spam them.

Welp, I just did my first Evo dungeon sweep. It's somehow both satisfying and hollow at the same time. My light team utterly decimates the lvl 70 dark dungeon for Beth in like 30-40 seconds so frankly it didn't take that long to begin with but doing it in literally 2 seconds for the entire stam is... well yeah it's both satisfying and hollow lol I dunno what else to say

I dropped $20 on both 500 stam packs and did a 100 sweep of Bari's dungeon.

It was amazing.

My current strategy is mostly spamming reactions, party is Mona/Fischl/Ameno Traveler/Kaeya. Mona and Fischl in particular can do a ton of damage together but only in a small AoE and the enemies tend to spread out, Fischl's cooldown on her skill is pretty long too.

Might have to try ringing out but I'm also trying to rush ar25 regardless. Though it seems like farming lv 50 Ascension materials is gonna be a challenge in its own right...I dunno, too many things to try and do.

Shit I just hit a massive brick wall of gemlessness in SMT. How the hell do I get more? I just started the third chapter and noticed that the stages aren't giving out 30-50 for the first clear bonus :<

Eh... I'm 10,000 gems and several steps into one banner and still don't have her. But then I never seem to do well on these collabs the first time, it's always the rerun where I manage to get everyone I want.

As for your gem issues; Hard and Hell modes tend to give gem rewards for first clears, that includes the collab event missions themselves.
