With this week's reputation missions I finally got the Mondstadt treasure locator, so that should encourage some more exploring, though very marginally so.

Meanwhile I'm actually fighting the geo boss now; I had only fought him a single time before. But Zhongli needs mats.

I got the treasure finder too. Looking forward to using it. You only need to craft it once right?

Only craft it once. Then you equip it and it operates with a cooldown. 30 seconds if it locates something, 5 seconds if not. When it triggers, there will be a little swirl and then a wisp in the direction of the nearest chest, similar to elemental vision. If that isn't enough for you or you miss it, you'll have to wait 30 seconds to try again. Also, can't use it in combat, which limits me running around the countryside spamming it a little.

I'm amazed how many chests I've found today that are just out in the open. Some of them are in places I know I've been to, as well, so I have to imagine they spawned it at a later AR.

Very cool. I think I'm going to dedicate this week to fight the Geo boss to get ascension material. Saturday for weeklies and Sunday for artifacts.

profDEADPOOL posted... What's the rules for destroying the prisms that spawn when you've nearly killed the Hypostatis people? It seems elemental damage is needed, but Ning's normal attack isn't always damaging them for me.

For Electrostasis, use Amber. You have enough time for 6 charged shots which will kill the boss

I was spooked on my first 5 star, but it was Mona, so that's already great. I had the rolls to continue and got Zhongli as well though. I could probably throw another 30 rolls at the banner but I'm not sure if I will or not.

I just spent a couple of Fates from the monthly stardust and got Xinyan. I'm good with that

I decided to pull until I get Xinyan. Took 50, but got her. Also got 3 Razors that I don't really want but he is meta so maybe I'll level him i dunno.

If I want Xinyan to be a carry, C1 seems worth the gems, but I'm at ~70 or so on the pity timer and I don't really want Zhongli? I think I'm gonna wait to see what the 1.2 banners are, and then decide whether or not to go for it. Well, and decide if I just want to use her as a support, because her kit will definitely work that way too, but >_>

I'm trying to figure out if Favonius or Sacrificial is a better bow for Diona atm. Got into a discussion on the GI board and ended up recording a video to test it. My first reaction was oh, Sacrificial seems good, and then it was oh, Sacrificial seems not so good, and now maybe I'm back to thinking it's probably better, albeit not massively?

Holy shit its like an entirely new game on PS5. Theres like 0 delay at all in switching characters and popping all their abilities. Its incredible

Be interested to know if that's going from standard PS4 or a Pro. There's definitely a difference between those two.

I haven't set up my PS5 yet to tell the difference between the Pro and a PS5 but I'd imagine most of it is as simple as the PS4 using a normal hard drive and the PS5 using a SSD

I went from standard PS4 to PS5 so its probably a significantly more noticeable difference, but damn is it amazing. I could not believe how quickly I could swap characters in battle, go into domains, open menus, open the map, teleport, etc. All the delays I had on the regular PS4 are just completely gone.

PS4 Pro is pretty bad and I feel bad whenever Im doing co-op. I always miss the first co-op invite, and its because Im still loading.

Constantly being told to accept the invite but I literally cant.

Got Zhong to Lv. 60. I have his Energy Recharge at about 130%, but does he even need it that high since his Ult only cost 40 energy? I do want to be able to spam it as much as possible to keep enemies stunned/petrified.

My Diluc has an energy recharge weapon (33.5%), not because I want him to but because that's what the only 5-star I own has, and it's still better than Prototype Animus in spite of that. Carrying a second fire user in the party, I can basically spam his burst off cooldown, which wasn't really true when I still used the Animus. Dawn also costs 40.

I was going to say that i can spam his burst off cooldown without animus then realized that its cause of venti's burst

Finally hit AR45. I only have 1 character at lv80 though so Im kinda worried the increase might be a bit much for the rest of my party, but it would only make fights take a bit longer really. I definitely gotta level up more weapons and talents which Ive been working on so I might hold off until then.

I got to 47. I'm definitely developing a bad case of Too Many Characters Snydrome lately, though. Conventional wisdom is get one character to 80 and leave the others at 70 while you stockpile supplies. I have:

4 characters to 80
2 healers to 70
recently leveled all my fodder to 20 and most of them to 40, with nearly everyone ascended to continue at any time

I've also leveled three different bows to 60 or 70 in the last week, trying to find some combination for Fischl and Diona that I actually like.

Completely broke on exp books, but I have plenty of weapon mats still, and about 4.5M mora. I'm thinking I need to start focusing on gathering ascension mats soon, though. The question is if I really need to get everyone to 90.

Anyone else reckoning with TMCS or when to start their prep for 50?

I straight up haven't rolled since the first banner since i already have 8 usable characcters. (Honestly more but i didnt really like sucrose and don't want to level noelle)

Venti
Diluc
Fischl
Barbara
Qiqi
Xiangling
Mc

and a 64/70 choq who i should probably level

I have 13400 primogens and 46 wishes (7 on the special banner)

Honestly i'm afraid of pulling cause i still haven't managed to get even one character (Diluc) with a set of artifacts im satisfied with.

For ascenion mats I'll just get it once i get to 50 and get the WL increase for better rates. Im sitting on around 6 mill mora and 200 of the good exp books. I just don't find levels really do a ton unless you get to the next milestone so i usually just sit at 70/80 until i can get them to 80/90. Honestly i'm not super concerned about the next level milestone anyways cause i feel like artifacts are way more important atm

If I had Venti, Diluc, and Qiqi early, I probably wouldn't feel especially compelled to roll, either.

Jean is the only one ready for 90. Also have enough to get Aquila Favonia to 90. Next I think I want to get Bennett up to 40 atleast, so I can use him with Zhongli.

Yeah, I'm also recently at 47, but my rolls on the latest banner have left me unsure. Previously, I had Diluc, Xiangling, and Fischl at 80, Traveler at 70, and Barbara, Bennett, Venti, and Kaeya at 60. But now I have Zhongli, Mona, Razor, and Chongyun as all interesting options. Chongyun and Kaeya do pretty similar things, so maybe I can stick with Kaeya, but Chongyun does have max constellation. Razor being an electro DPS is something I could use. Mona is only my second water character after Barbara, and has a lot more potential. And Zhongli is not only very cool, but I do want to try the Geo Traveler memes. And that's ignoring that when I hit AR50 there will be the option to go to 90, even though I'm very lacking in gemstones to do that even for Diluc.

I still have a good amount of EXP leftover, but I'm reluctant to use it.

Anybody know some good places to farm Cor Lapis? The only good one that I could find was at waypoint at Mt. Hulao that had clusters of them. Everywhere else is kinda spread out at random.

oh yeah i agree on that don't ever just take one tier list at face value, that is absolutely the wrong way to use them

the great thing about the internet is that you can get a LOT of opinions, and a tier list is just one person's set of organized opinions. it's especially bad if you don't understand the tier list maker's point of view, because they may value things you don't care about. i don't think tier lists are inherently bad like a lot of people do, but people absolutely do utilize them incorrectly

though, it's a wonderful shortcut when you have no frame of reference for a general idea of what is valuable and what isn't, as long as you look at multiple tier lists and make sure one person isn't being especially biased
