A bunch of homeless people quietly waiting in line at the food shelter? I think he had some nasty things to say about how he didnt want to have to see them on his daily commute.

I have a claim at work where a rich couple is filing a lawsuit against someone they bought a house from for failure to disclose there was a homeless outreach shelter like 2 miles down the road. It's pathetic.

You'd think a rich couple could afford to use Google Street View to explore the neighbourhood (not that 2 miles away really counts as "neighbourhood") before buying.

You'd think a couple buying real estate in San Francisco would understand there is a huge homeless population and be more empathetic but here we are.

The insured filed a claim for defense against the lawsuit. I don't think there's coverage but they're seeking it.

In fairness, I have a homeless shelter near one of my places and it gets trashed A LOT. It's mostly bottles/cans of beer but occasionally I'll get something like a used feminine hygiene product or something like that on the lawn. Packages get stolen if they're not hidden so I had to build boxes for UPS/Amazon stuff. Once had a dude passed out on the lawn too.

It's within eyesight of the police station ffs.

foxx, fell back into her work, and melonmaster had a son. i do remember he - rightfully - suspended, zeus and zikten, before his removal, ok?

unsurprisingly, it was all overturned when zikten, cried wolf to the mods, and zeus acted like he was a martyr, per his usual self. most memorably, he foretold that zeus, would turn out as the highly unstable troll we all see today.

later, foxx shared agreed with the assessment when she became a mod. and zeus, shot himself in the foot by sharing he has at least two dozen alts, all with high amp. afterwards he was warned for repeatedly sharing his racist dogma during the infamous, charlottesville rallies.

while both are no longer mods, as you can see, the current staff clearly has the situation under control. i'm sure you're aware the last part, was sarcasm.

Because it could easily lower property values, which in turn could damage their investment, which in turn would make it something the seller should be obligated to disclose prior to the sale.

It's questionable because it's something the buyers could find out for themselves if they'd done any investigation of the area (as opposed to something in the house that is generally hidden), but it's still a grey area. There are other things the public can investigate (like whether or not anyone has died in the house) that are absolutely required for a seller to disclose or risk facing legal action.

I'd say it might depend on local laws where the house was sold. I could easily see some places being on the side of the buyer who is upset over not being informed.
