Do you have a problem with this magazine cover of harry styles in a dress?

Candace Heifer Owens has doubled down on her outrage over former One Direction Singer Harry Styles wearing a DRESS in a new Vogue Cover and calls to bring back "MANLY MEN"!!

The 26 y/o made history as the first ever solo male cover star of US Vogue in its 127 history as the magazine shook things up to have him wearing a gucci jacket with a ball gown

She wrote "There is no society that can survive without strong men...bring back manly men. The east knows this. In the west, the steady feminization of our men at the same time that Marxism is being taught to our children is not coincidence"

She calls it the steady feminizatin of our men and claims terms like "toxic masculinity" created by "toxic females" has demonized their strong men image and said Harry should be in JEANS like a REAL MAN rather than a dress!!

Matt Walsh, another right wing nutjob also voiced support writing "Because of a bunch of whiney idiots are mad that she said men who wear dresses aren't manly. Her statement, of course is true and utterly self-evident and would have provoked no reaction as recently as a decade ago"

Owens said "Wait until they found that i also think women should be feminine. and i enjoy cooking for and taking care of my husband. DEFCON 1"

Styles has not yet responded to this but celebrities have already slammed Owens including Olivia Wilde who said "You're Pathetic" and Lord of the Rings Elijah Wood said "I thikn you've missed the definition of what a man is. Masculinity alone does not make a man"

In response, Owens said to him "DON'T TEMPT ME, FRODO. Sorry, one of my favourite movies. Couldn't miss the opportunity. I'm only human".

Styles said in the magzine that he makes his own rules and admits to enjoying dressing up and isn't prohibited by pre-conceived barriers regarding what people of opposing sexes should and should not wear. He said "Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with..when you take away the clothes, there's clothes for men and there's clothes for women, once you remove any barriers, obviously you open up the arena in which you can play"

Does this picture of a man in a dress trigger you?

The weirdest part is how she tries to link "cultural Marxism" to the feminization of men. If you read any actual literature from Communist countries, they're very much not about that. In Liu Cixin's Three-Body Problem sci-fi trilogy there is actually a huge plot point that is clearly him expressing his disdain for "feminized" societies. And he's an adamant supporter of Big Daddy China!

The apparent feminization of men has more to do with the accessibility of birth control. Birth control has a tangible effect on what many women find attractive. There's plenty of studies out there. All that being said, you can be in touch with "feminine" aesthetics and still be a "manly man". There's nothing making the two mutually exclusive except false division by radical pundits like Owens and Shapiro.

The do already they just pull a bell daphine and do strategic had covering or use props like a guitar or something. Example would be vogue espana fall 2010 had woman with sheer wedding dress covering nips with for arms while lifting a faux veil from her chest which was bare.

It's not hurting anybody, so who cares? But I do think the whole "male traits are toxic, we must all be post-gender" crowd should try fixing whatever crawled up their asses before trying to remold society to their liking as some weird coping mechanism. It's no more productive to push that than yell gamer words when men wear dresses or protagonists are minorities. Fringes are where brains go to rot.

"Cultural Marxism" is a fearmongering phrase the right invented so they can frame any societal change they don't like as a purposeful political effort from liberals and other leftists.

Jfc, I could maybe understand their freakouts if he was just walking around naked, but this is ridiculous. If you think that your civilization is so fragile that it will crumble to dust because some men wear dresses, then your civilization is too pathetic to endure regardless and frankly, probably not worth trying to preserve anyway. If civilization didn't collapse when we stopped dressing baby boys in dresses, then it won't collapse when men start wearing them either. Fucking stupid fucks.

It's literal Nazi propaganda. "Cultural marxism," it's called. The more savvy of those who push this notion will point to work like, say, F. Engels' book, "The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State," and screech about how communists want to destroy your family, but the more they talk, the more it's clear that they are completely unfamiliar with the subject matter and are just fearmongering via strawmen.

Ultimately it really doesnt matter.

It was functionally very different from the high heels that women wear and a rather limited practice, considering that it was something more down by the aristocracy in certain places.

As for earrings, the cultural norms depend on the country.
