I wouldn't condone the violence either, but I'm not losing sleep over it. I believe there will be civil unrest as long as Trump is in office. His base is vehemently against BLM and all they do is fan the flames and keep the fire burning. Trump is extremely divisive and anyone who denies it is a fool.

I believe we will remain divided so long as the democratic party continues in its current path advocating for social justice and communism. You may hate Trump, but he's a symptom; not the cause. Trump isn't the one claiming a homeless white dude has more privledge than a black millionaire. Trump isn't the one advocating for destroying the entire system and rebuilding it as a communist government. Trump isn't the one engaging in mass censorship and accusing everyone of the opposing party of being nazi facists. The left is. This radical party is. Just look what's happening with Amy right now. Trump nominated a justice who is catholic and they're not only trying to paint her as a religious fanatic but acting like the Handmaiden's Tale is going to happen now with women reduced to breeding cows with no rights. Things weren't that bad when women HAD no rights and you think that, because ONE justice isn't fully on board with the feminist agenda, it's going to happen overnight? Why? Because she *might* be opposed to abortion? That's not just crazy that's outright delusional nonsense!

I'm not male. And I don't see the contradiction. My life isn't defined by my sexuality, the things I care about in government aren't related to sexuality, and the right has become far more accepting of non-straight sexualities over the years.

To me this says you don't know anything about me or what I believe and, instead, make up shit. First off you might want to check your history. If I was a tribalist on the right I'd have been FOR desegregation. But that aside the core things I believe involve equality between races; not preaching about how white people are evil oppressors, passing bills to allow racial discrimination in hiring, and the like. All those are things recently advocated for by the left. So yes, I would be opposed to the left then (because they were the party that rebelled against the government to preserve slavery among other things) and I am opposed to the left now (because it's the party threatening to rebel against the government to permit racism and segregation and the like).
