I'm not male. And I don't see the contradiction. My life isn't defined by my sexuality, the things I care about in government aren't related to sexuality, and the right has become far more accepting of non-straight sexualities over the years.

Gays can get married and it's frowned upon to fire someone just because they're gay or trans. Oh, clutch your pearls. The world is ending. If you were living in the 60s you'd be crying about desegregation. It's not a good look.

To me this says you don't know anything about me or what I believe and, instead, make up shit. First off you might want to check your history. If I was a tribalist on the right I'd have been FOR desegregation. But that aside the core things I believe involve equality between races; not preaching about how white people are evil oppressors, passing bills to allow racial discrimination in hiring, and the like. All those are things recently advocated for by the left. So yes, I would be opposed to the left then (because they were the party that rebelled against the government to preserve slavery among other things) and I am opposed to the left now (because it's the party threatening to rebel against the government to permit racism and segregation and the like).
