still today's tea: tippy yunnan. The thing about this tea is that I've ordered this tea twice, and it was better the first time. It's still very good. I took a good look at the loose leaf to gauge quality today, and it actually doesn't look too good comparatively. Probably why it's pretty cheap. I do buy higher quality stuff and it's good, but I still don't like it as much as this tea. I still want to buy higher quality stuff because I'm chasing for something like this but even better. Will I find it?

today's tea: 1 pint of fujian black tea. I've been doing 3 g of floral black tea with 1 g of stronger or lesser grade tea, and it works out well. Gives the tea more body while retaining light/floral flavors.

today's tea: 1 pint of keemun, with some georgian black blended in. So this keemun has body, but not much malty or sweet characteristics, so I thought blending something stronger would complement it. Well, I chose the georgian tea because lower leaf quality is typically stronger. Forgot that georgian tea not malty.

today's tea: 1 pint of keemun. So I recalled/noticed that my work thermos that I used to use tasted different, and it was because the volume is bigger than my cup, probably around 2 fl oz. So I've been brewing using less leaf than typical, and it's been pretty good. Certain flavors of the tea jump out more. Gonna do this for all my teas for a bit.
