I know Delita and Garnet were both on the lower end of my preferences for a final but Squall was my #2 and technically my #1 but I put him as #2 for the list since I wanted to give Red a shot for #1 so woo

Fortunately I forgot the scene in FF8 where it was revealed that the orphanage they all grew up in turned out to have been named the Jessie Raspberry Orphanarium, so it still counts I think.

I said no spoilers!!! damn fine it's Roba and Ark with the potential perfects and imperfects. Exciting times. Lots of other people in the mix - I can't complain, I got 4/6/8 left. It was a pretty good top 15 for me.

If I block lefty, does SMFFFC even exist? If I close my account, do I even exist? Does any of this matter?

But in any case, step 1 is to try and become as detached as possible rather than obsessively trying to control every round outcome. That's what I was supposed to do this year and then working from home... it's easy to fall into old habits, specifically last year when I was on leave so had plenty of free time.

So I'll just show up, do my bare minimum saves, no sniping, and won't even look at the topics or results. Is the plan.

Yessss I had a plan at the top 5 for whoever won and what my special playthrough would be:

Tifa: Accomplish an FF7R normal mode speedrun in under 10 hours

Squall: GF-only challenge with no carding enemies and no running away from random battles

Garnet: ??

Seymour: No Sphere Grid

Delita: FFT replay where I'd just abuse the hell out of the JP Scroll glitch for maximum fun

I could never think of a good FF9 challenge, I've already done Excalibur II. Maybe just a straight no random battles, lowest-level-possible challenge? Or "Abilities Only" from Disc 2 onwards? Oh that could be interesting come to think of it... if not a little tedious...

In any case, whoever wins, I technically need to replay the 13 trilogy beforehand... or at least original 13 and Lightning Returns.
