I suppose it was a good thing that it happened right then, since it ensured it was noticed which meant he could get help faster. Also I didn't realize he's 85 now. I'm not 100% on board with his entire platform but he has been instrumental in drawing attention to a lot of issues that plague both major parties that almost no one in the mainstream media talks about.
