I've never really had a problem coughing into my mask, but sneezing into it always seemed gross to me. When I have to sneeze I lift my mask up and sneeze into my elbow.

Am I doing it wrong?

Try tucking your lower lip into your mouth as you sneeze to direct the force downward and thus less residual spray to the face.

I try to avoid sneezing when I have the mask on, but have sneezed into it a couple times. It's why I also keep a standby handy in case the mask of the day gets soiled, and wash all of my masks weekly.

Sure, but the vast majority of masked sneezes I've experienced haven't been particularly juicy (they're either caused by the sun, or by the fact that the nerves in my mouth have been screwed up since my jaw surgery and I can sometimes make myself sneeze if my tongue hits the wrong part of the roof of my mouth), so it's not a big deal. I still sneeze into my elbow even with the mask on.

Well sure, but I can usually catch when a sneeze is coming, and more often than not calm my sinuses so that the sneeze doesn't come, or possibly delay it by a minute until I get somewhere safe that doesn't involve people or masks.

I did once and never again. Now if I have to and Im near anyone I just take off in a direction with no people so I can take my mask off.

I've gotten pretty good at stifling them. The couple of times I do I use use my mask and shoulder still. You shouldn't be throwing up too much goop unless you have allergies or actually sick though.

I have allergies unfortunately. Still don't throw too much goop but I do unfortunately throw out a lot of what the mask is there to block afaik. (Spray basically, idk why. Maybe because my nose is messed up. My sneezes kinda... Halfway or more back up into my nose when they happen so I end up misting more than anything.)

That has supprisingly never happened to me. And I am the kind of person who sneezes ALL the time.

I guess the lack of dust getting into my nose prevents it from happening.

If I need to sneeze then sure. Removing my mask to sneeze makes me having a mask on pointless. Although I don't wear masks much anyway so meh.
