Some people think Vader turns off the control panel lights on his chest plate and sometimes like to complain about that, but he actually doesn't. His suit in RO is modeled after the ANH suit which didn't light up in the first place. He's the kind of badass who lifts a dude all the way off the floor while one-hand choking him to death." I don't think there was ever any doubt that Vader was insurmountable by normal means.
