Beatrix has the problem of too much shared support with "stronger" characters from outside her own game. She gained next to nothing from Kuja/Vivi elims and is getting nothing from Zidane except me (and that goes away in 2-3 rounds.) If Beatrix makes it to final 12ish she can definitely run it, but getting there's the problem. That being said, I had to choose between her and Zidane today knowing it had a decent chance of deciding the boot and decided she had better potential. Even with likely suspects that people have pointed out, you still have "main backers" that make up the bulk of the saves with the characters. Trains need passengers, and you don't really start seeing that until we get just a little deeper into the contest. There hasn't been a lot of "propaganda" this year, if any, really. The fact that just saying "Dunkmaster" is the closest we've had to old school SMFFFC style pushes says a lot. The Layle stuff was there I guess. That is the kinda stuff I'm referring to more, but people just didn't take a hold to it for very long.
