Eh... your Squall support isn't as solid as you think it is right now...

Eh we got two mains who trade, a semi consistent third main, a secondary, and when near the end a few users continually act as a safety net. I think we're good for at least the next rule change.

actually I wonder what would happen if missed contests counted as zeros........ since placing last isn't a zero, it's 1% (or whatever 1/[contestant size] is)

as creator of STATS I did this deliberately for two reasons: first I wanted a win to be 100 no matter the contest size and second I thought you should get some points just for making the field

see I think it's more damning if you get booted and don't ever get nominated back in, and should thus hurt more than someone like ExDeath who has bad stats but keeps coming back

Before someone tries to say "well doesn't coming 1st out of 102 mean more than coming first out of 40 as well??" I would say no since most of the extended cast have no real hope winning a contest and are complete fodder, so it means more if you die early because wow you must've screwed up

There's a reason nearly 40% of the original SMFFFC I contestants are still part of the ECC!

we'll see how... is it Terra & Sephiroth fair on the chopping block?.... doubt they go

the topic made me wanna see what ECCs haven't won a contest.... looking up... only 2 of 14 ECCs haven't seen a finals, 7 out of the 12 ECC finalists have won a championship... and 1 of those 7 champions has won twice

Sephiroth and Rikku are the two that haven't made the finals, the 5 that made a final but haven't won are Locke, Tifa, Terra, Squall, and Yuffie

Well, four of the seven that haven't won could still win

Odds aren't terrible that Tifa or Squall win this year (and Locke/Yuffie could maybe do surprisingly well too but eh they have less momentum) but I think this year seems like its going towards a specific direction
