Will you be watching the series finale?

Today was the official LAST day of filming for Supernatural TV Brothers, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as they had their usual post wrapping party..and this time it was the last party they will have together as the Winchester Brothers will be no more when 2020 is over and the final 7 episodes will air.

They had their last dinner at Cioppino's Mediterranean Grill in Yaletown, Vancouver with cast and crew as with usual tradition in the 15 years of the series.....

On the last day they woke up feeling sad that they will go their separate ways. Jared back to Texas to film his CW Series Walker, Texas Ranger and Jared heading to Toronto for the popular The Boys Series for season 3

They signed autographs and took pictures with fans before saying their goodbye to Vancouver, Canada and took many pictures of the mountains and scenery before saying goodbye to the crew.

The same car that they have driven for the past 15 years will be AUCTIONED off to a lucky buyer

The series ran so long that the brothers are in their 40's and are now Dad's themselves despite their TV characters never finding love..

As fans eagerly await the long delayed last episodes, many are wondering how the series will end..

Will you watch the series finale?

Yes, we should have put a number of people out of work because you didn't like the show.

?????

Is running a series after it gets bad how we do welfare in this country? Was supernatural a sort of new-dealesque program to put our hunks back to work?

I remember when I got emotional over early seasons of Supernatural and teared up over Carry on my Wayward Son. But it got so bad I just stopped watching it then I heard it got worse. How do they mess up shows that bad.

I didn't realize that we used your subjective measurements of quality to determine ratings.

you're trying to wheel this back to the slightly less stupid "your opinion on a show doesn't matter" but I would like to stay focused on the first incredible thing you said which seems to claim that the actors and crew of supernatural need the show to go on regardless of how bad it is make a living. Please continue to defend that point.

Well the original creator/writer left after season 5 because the story was done and that was supposed to be the end.

They just kept coming up with new plotlines after that to keep it going.

I mean I have nothing against the actors or their willingness to keep doing the show, but their careers would have stood a much better chance of branching out if the show had ended 10 years ago like it was originally supposed to.

Sure, I would be happy to defend not getting rid of a television show that's meeting ratings expectations so the set designers, make-up artists, lighting technicians, craft services, etc. don't lose their jobs because someone who can't even sign their real name to their opinion believes that jobs should be sliced because "ME NO LIKE SHOW." Which was my original opinion. Sorry, I just have zero respect for people who are so callous about things. Very much a foolmo style of opinion. Sorry that I'm at a point in my life where posts like that rub me the wrong way.

I think there's a right way to be critical and a wrong way. And generally speaking, you prove time and again you are a proponent of the wrong way, a "Me-First" mentality that just boggles my mind. This is just a straw breaking the camel's back.

Yeah, Supernatural is a somewhat unique case where it's very easy to see when and why the quality drops. Now S6-15 is not what I would call a consistent drop in quality so I guess you can just attribute that to some plotlines working out better than others, but it's never consistently on par with everything before it.

Scarlet, I'm like 99% sure most people don't get the smaller crewmember jobs on just one show at a time even while it's ongoing. Your mentality here is baffling.

I'm willing to die on an unreasonable hill honestly. I'm just sick of this board's lack of compassion in any situation. "Ah, good, should've been gone years ago" is a shitty attitude and it drives me up the wall that there is like no empathy around here ever.

I actually totally agree with this.

That said I actually like to think shows ending is a good thing. I've heard that a lot of people get tired of the doing the same show for years, especially if it starts dipping in quality. Having a variety of projects under your belt is often more uplifting than just having one major one. Albeit I know that's not what that one post was getting at

A lack of compassion is the hallmark of board 8. Without that this place might actually be enjoyable and we wouldn't want that to happen.

Shows like this will always draw the crowd of "should have ended it when it was good" though. As a fan of the X-Files I've always heard people say this about the last few seasons of the show, especially after Duchovny left the first time. I personally still enjoyed the show and glad it kept going for a little while, and I'm sure there are a lot of Supernatural fans out there who still loved the show all the way to the end too (ratings would indicate there were enough, yeah). I think to call for the end of a show is just kinda selfish because there are probably a lot of people who disagree with that assertion that it wasn't worth continuing. Not to say I've never stopped enjoying a show at some point I guess, but if the artists wanted to keep going with the production then I can't really tell them that as a fan I wish they'd not have.

It's weird I never got into this show much. I guess there's no better time to give it a second shake than after it ends.

My name is Jean-Paul Kafka Houed I live at 80 N dow mountain st hoodsport wa 98548 and I think supernatural has been struggling since season 5 and has been bad since season 9. There were obvious times when the show wrote itself into a corner, and never recovered.

Also even in the weird twilight zone scenario that you've set up in your mind where all the people who work on supernatural wouldn't be able to find work if the show ended a few seasons earlier, I would still say the same thing. Its precisely because I'm a loser on the internet with no bearing on TV ratings that I can make my opinion heard to a dead gamefaqs board without worrying about it affecting the show and it's workers.

Also, for what its worth, all the actors/camera crew/editors whatever on the show did amazing work. Writing/Story sucked lemondrops tho.
