I literally never saw him until today and seemingly all he ever did was post polls about tv with links to some outside site and now he got banned for reasons I assume are related to the topic he made here

his whole posting history seemed to be posting these polls on multiple boards. legitimately no posts in any other topics for at least the last few months. He was Full Throttle-esque.

and that TV board topic is like five months old; so hes been reposting and bumping the same specific poll link for five months for some reason

There's another poster on another board I wont name, but in terms 9f bizarre users hes up there. He has like 3k active posts (down from the usual 4-5k he normally maintains) and almost every post he edits 3-5 times. Full edits too, adding or removing sentences and paragraphs before committing. Its astounding

I thought you couldn't link to anything potentially adult-only on this site at all, but the posts that have the link are still up and have been for months.

That said, it looked pretty suspicious.

it's pretty common for board hunters like luster to have AMP that are in the thousands. luster doesn't even have that many posts, relatively speaking. there's also this dude, for instance:

tl;dr board hunting is about posting on as many boards without topicality as possible and making sure your posts don't archive or purge. this is how board hunters get thousands of active posts.
