Just finished Expanse book 8. I think book 9 is supposed to be the last one, and if so, they've set up one heck of a finale.

Quick observation at the difference between The Expanse books and the show:
Naomi is way better in the books. Her character arc is radically different. I'm hoping season 5 will kind of help bring her more in line with her book version. Amos is actually noticeably better in the show. They humanize him more. Not to say he's not good in the books, but you don't see those humanizing moments as often. I've decided to make my own descent into gacha hell in the form of Bang Dream! Girls Band Party!
I am mostly here just for the rhythm game, which is kind of like Pop'n but on a phone and not as cute. (It's probably like others also but Pop'n is the one I am familiar with.) The game is fun, but it is frustrating how it's impossible to get good enough stats/abilities to get good scores without selling your soul to gacha overlords since the free options to acquire in-game currency basically only dole out pocket change. Fortunately I managed to luck my way into a 4-star band member very early on which is letting me make some progress. The gameplay is fun regardless though, and I can at least still progress to better stats/members/whatever without actually paying anything even if it is at a snail's pace. idk if anybody else here actually plays the game but if someone does then you can add me or something. Ive always been a little curious about the rhythm gachas but Ive found it really hard to truly focus on more than one at a time and Im still pretty deep into Dokkan battle

Yeah, no cutscene skip is a big oversight, although I almost never lose to Yunalesca anymore because I've got a solid strategy there. The other infamous storyline battle is the one I'm more likely to lose.
